Mill's is the Escrow company handling disbursement of funds from a real estate transaction in 2019 which I am a co-payee. The land resold on Dec 31 and ******* ****, Escrow Manager at ************** ** handled the closing and had WestStar's courier deliver the proceeds via WestStar check in the amount of $1,133,388.20 to Mill's Escrow Company on Dec. 31, 2021. Mills also received a notarized 'Release of Lien' from both partners (************************* and me, *******************) on Dec. 31, 2021. I was then informed by ***********************************, Office Manager at Mill's they wouldn't release funds until the Lien Releases were recorded at the ******* **urt House, and then after 3 days had passed for the check could clear from Wast Star. *********************************** stated multiple times 'It was company policy'.After me asking to show me where this policy was disclosed and acknowledged by us, the customer, she said she would pass the situation to the owner and when he had time, would contact me. I have not been contacted and in fact was told by ********************* to not contact her again, by email and she would have her attorney handle the matter. In reviewing the file of initial paperwork there seems to be no disclosure of a hold on a 'Title Company' check, nor in any of the forms currently available on their website. I would be fine with providing the email correspondence to you. ********************* claims funds with be wired today, 7 days after she received then with a loss of interest to my Brother and myself of $875.00 in interest at 4 %, which is what the note was earning. This company has taken and is holding over a million dollars ($1,133,338.22), created excuses for not dispersing the funds, has forced the payee's to sign a release of lien, and then told me the owner 'No further **ntact' except through an un-named Attorney. We have no money, legal ownership due to being forced to sign a Lien Release, no land and this appears to be fraud in the works. Help Please! Respectfully. *******************
