I had a door salesman knock on my door on Aug 2, 2024. He talked up selling these steaks claiming it was his family's company and he was the son of the owner. He came inside and brought the package of meats with him. He was a good salesman which is what got me. He claimed he was selling prime, grass fed, beef but when we cooked a couple tonight they were horrible. They were so chewy, sour tasting, and now we are scared to try anymore. He also had us pay through Venmo, left no card or anything, the only way I remembered the company name was by checking our doorbell camera to look at what his shirt said. We have $270 worth of meat that I'm now scared to eat. We want a full refund.Business response

************** From Six Brothers Beef was the salesman that sold me the meat. He said all of the beef was grain fed, great taste, and TENDER!! I tried 2 New York strips, 2 ********* Ribeyes, and 1 Sirloin Ranch. I had to throw them in the trash because they were so tough, and chewy! My wife and I also tried the chicken breast which was tender, but afterwards give us upset stomach! Needless to say were very unhappy with what was sold to us. I tried to call ************** And no answer, and guess whathis voicemail was full too! I called the home office number and someone answered then said they would get back to us.didnt happen!! I called again after a couple of weeks and same thingno response!! I have called multiple times, only to feel like Ive been had!!! Im stuck with meat I cant eat and empty promises! At this point I just want my money back, and to never see another traveling meat salesman as long as I live!! That was as nice as I could possibly say it!!!Business response

I am rejecting this response because:When I called them several times in the past and they have taken my number down and I have gotten zero responses, how do I trust that they will contact me by email? I will go ahead and send an email but I am still not satisfied until I get a response. I would like a refund and I want it in writing so there is no misunderstanding. They can come get their product too.

The chicken is very hard to eat and white stuff keep coming a lot. They sold us very old chicken. Its so disgusting ?? I tried contacting them but they dont answer the phone. I need my money back. This is unacceptable.Business response

We bought some2 boxes of meat and shrimp from ******* on April 17th. We opened the new York strips and they were very good. Fast forward to 2 weeks later, I open the steaks and they are bad. Smell rotten and sour. So we go to open the pork chops and they are also bad! I'm too scared to try the chicken and shrimp.I tried calling ******* but he didn't answer and his voice mail was full. I tried again last week and his phone is cut off. I've left 2 voice-mail at the company and no response. No email, text or phone call. I'd like my money back please because I spent $436. I can prove it as well. Please, just someone help me because we have a family of 5 and wasted our money on bad meat.Business response

I negotiated a price with the vendor for $400 for a box of beef and when I looked at my credit card, I was billed $478.40! The guy added a 62$ tip! In addition, when I opened the boxes to put them in my freezer, I found that the steaks were NOT the product that he showed me. He showed me a steak that was twice the size and thickness than what I received. I suppose I should have opened every box, but I felt a level of trust with the vendor.Business response

This is the worst beef Ive ever put in my mouth. Con job salesmen saying they had a customers husband die and they needed to unload the order. I just got conned out of $341. Calling me pops. Ill have them arrested for trespassing if they ever step foot on my doorstep again. Run as fast as your can from this food. They guarantee your satisfaction 100% but with no refunds. Why would I want to exchange s***** meat for even more s***** meat? And drive to their store to do it. Had no flavor, tough as leather and it was brown when it thawed from the packaging. Im going to dispute this from my credit card statement. I cant say enough how disgusted I am with this meat. I WANT A FULL AND COMPLETE REFUND!Business response

I had purchased one pack of chicken and two New York strip steaks expecting everything to be amazing and well my significant other and I thawed the steaks right, cooked both steaks the way we always do and they both came out tasting fermented and old with a slight sour taste. I also made the chicken and that came out perfect. I called them to explain that and all they can apparently do is give me two more free steaks when thats not what I want at all, I want my money back and I will not be a returning customer which is why I didnt choose to get two new free steaks.Business response

I had a sales person knock on my door and told me he was the local sales person for our area representing Six Brothers Beef Company in ***** ,**. His name was *******************. He had a "special" because we were his last stop. I have the flyer included in this statement to show you what we had purchased. If you bought 4 cases you got a 7 cu ft freezer he told us valued at $500. The total price was $1500 for the 4 cases of choice and the freezer. We already had a freezer so he told us he could offer the 4 cases for $1000 without the freezer and he would throw in 2 bags of shrimp and a chocolate mousse cake. The 4 cases would not fit in the freezer he stated in the storage boxes so he took the meat and chicken out of their original containers and threw them in the freezer. I went to get the money for him and he told me he would unload everything. I came back and boxes were gone and meat in freezer. I told ********** had no idea what he just put in the freezer and nothing was labeled? How di I know what I just bought? He told me he was in a hurry and promised to be back tomorrow which was 12/20/22. In the meantime my husband and I took everything out of freezer in an attempt to see what we bought and all the items we bought and are on the brochure and receipt were not there. We were missing the Ribeye's and T-Bone steaks and had over the amount of burgers? I reached out multiple times and **** had promised on 3 different occasions to come and take care of it. After a week of not showing up and no longer responding , I contact the manager of ********* branch. He apologized and promised a salesperson would be at our home on Saturday 1/7/23. We waiting the entire afternoon and nobody showed up. I then reached out to the corporate office and I received an email that they were reaching out to the ******* store ASAP ( see email). That was another week on 1/14/23. I have yet to hear from anyone. We want a full refund as we did not get what we ordered.Business response
