I have been waiting over 30 days for a refund on my account. I have made over 14 calls about this refund and all of the representatives give completely different information. 3 representatives have told me that I would get a notification on my GM financial app others told me the check was in the mail and I should be receiving it any day. I have recieved the run around in regards to this refund for weeks. Today I called to speak with a supervisor to only be told by ********* that I would have to call back AGAIN due to the supervisors being in a meeting. I requested that they call me back as I am super upset and have called them at least 14 times and have zero resolution. At this point angry isnt the word and the customer service is just TERRIBLE.

On March 26th 2024, I contacted GM FINANCIAL to resolve fraudulent reporting to all 3 credit bureaus. This is one of many attempts to resolve this matter with an absolute mockery of customer service. I spoke with ID NUMBER: ***** on what I believe was a recorded line. BACKGROUND INFO: She confirmed with me over the phone that my account was fully paid and that she would remove the charge off from the report. In fact the company sold the contract to a third party that went out of business. They claim there was a $259.00 charge off that occurred somewhere in the erroneus exchange of the security (April 30 2019). I have since taken further action with the **** and correspance via certified mail to remove false reporting, and will continue until resolved and not be taken advantage of anymore by this company.SPECIFIC REASON FOR THIS COMPLAINT: In this instance the representative lied to me by saying she would reflect the proper status as paid in full and fraudulent negative remarks removed. I made it VERY clear that the company had the incorrect address. I have never lived at the address they have on file. She said she would happily remove the incorrect address and update the correct one . I gave her the name and numbers over the phone in a clear and articulable way and she confirmed it to me. A couple days later I notice on all my credit reports a brand new address was added that was not the one I gave her. This is wilful negligence. Reporting false information. My only address and the one I provided: *****************************************************.

I am disputing an account with this creditor due to I did not apply and I have submitted over the documents to their office to confirm the account was not opened or obtained by myself. Per 15 USC Code 1601 the account should be blocked and deleted due to Identity Theft. I mailed documentation to GM Financial on 5/3/24 and as of today 6/22/24 I have not heard from their office and therefore, they did not comply with the **** timeframe of responding back. By law this account should be deleted from my credit file. I have also disputed the account with the credit reporting agencies and they replied back the account was validated, but did not provide confirmation of the validation.I have submitted my complaints to the *** and Consumer Affairs regarding this issue.

I paid off my loan with GM Financial and all I want is to get my car title released. It has been almost 30 days and no title or electronic letter/title request is available. I have spoken with their customer service 3 times, they only stonewall and tell me ************************************************ estimated delivery date. It has been more than 15 business days with no word back.I held up my end of the bargain and paid the loan, its only fair they released the title on time just as I made payments on time.

      Better Business Bureau:

Despite multiple phone calls, GM waited to mail out the vehicle title release until the last possible day legally required - June 20. This conforms to the letter of the law, but not the spirit. I'll follow up with a rating of the business but for now I have what is needed.

Purchased a new vehicle from Reliable Chevrolet in *********** ** on May 30, 2024 - they could see that I was on the fence of purchasing the vehicle. As an incentive to purchase the dealer told me they would save me $500 by waiving the $500 fee if I took a loan on the vehicle and to pay it off as soon as I received a letter from the financial institute without an early repay penalty. I was prepared to pay cash and had my checkbook in hand to do so. They told me to wait until I received a letter from the financial institute and then pay off the loan which would be but a few dollars interest. I received letter June 17, 2024 and in calling GM Financial (call center located in ***************) i was told the interest due was $332.98. Hardly a $500 saving, besides the hassle of having GM Financial on the title, giving my financial information, dealing with the financial institution, having my credit checked. So far I've spent approx. 6 hours hassling with the situation. I think 1) the dealer grossly misrepresented the situation in order to close a sale. Telling me I'd save $500 when they certainty had to know differently. 2) GM Financial call center is in *************** and are incapable to addressing any complaints. They are apparently drilled to say I'm sorry I can't do anything about the situation.

A few weeks earlier they removed me from autopay. Its a nightmare talking to these people so I said whatever and just paid it manually. Payment was made 06/07. I look in my account and Ive been charged twice. Once on 06/07 and again on 06/10. They issued a paper refund.. no email or call letting me know they did that. I call in and it had already been mailed to another address overnight. I ask if they can cancel the check (thats already been delivered) and they said no. They also told me they would not be able to show any documentation saying that they double charged me. I needed that letter to let my other bills know why they didnt get paid and to waive a late fee. Again, they have not done that. So Im not only $479.21 poorer, but actually $800 due to late fees.
