I did a lease pull ahead on *********** xt6 in October and leased another xt6. In March I received a notice that I was 60 days deliquent on a balance of $1722 but all payments were made. I contacted GNM Financial and no one could tell me what this amount was for I left messages asking for a supervisor to call and I did not receive a call. I emailed the dispute department and did not get a response. I called again and still did not get an answer, so I agreed to pay the balance and asked that they remove the ********************************************************************************************************************************************************* I even had the dealership try to get a response for me as I was looking to buy another vehicle from them and they still won't help. It is unfortunate because I have been a long time customer leasing cadillacs and chevys for me and my family I have never missed a payment and they don't seem to value me or my business.

On April 1st, 2025, GM Financial deposited a check in the amount of $23,092.00 issued by Abilene Teachers ********************, intended as the full payoff for my auto loan. The check was deposited into a ******** Chase ******* associated with GM Financial. However, as of the date of this letter, that payment has not been applied to my GM Financial *******.Since the transaction, both myself and ****** *****, a loan officer with *************************************, have made repeated attempts throughout the month to contact GM Financials customer service department. Despite multiple support tickets being submitted to their Customer ************************ Team (CRT), there has been no measurable progress toward resolving this issue. Each representative weve spoken to has stated that GM Financial would return our calls, but no one has contacted us to provide any meaningful updates or resolution. There appears to be a complete lack of communication from GM Financial to either myself or Ms. ************* one point, a GM Financial representative claimed the check had bounced, which is demonstrably false. The check did clear, and ************** confirms that the funds have been withdrawn. The payment has been processed, yet GM Financial has not credited the amount to my ******* or closed out the loan.

On January 8th I received an email regarding a car tax bill that GM Financial paid on my behalf for a lease i returned. Part of the body of the email stated to respond with any information needed for GM to file an abatement to have the charged tax amount lowered. I followed up again two weeks later with no response. After a month, I received notification on my credit report that I had a 30 day past due payment. I called GM Financial and the woman explained to me the situation and said to pay partial and ** will internally handle the **** on my credit while the abatement is being processed. I received another notice of past due and paid off the amount even though it was incorrect. I spoke to another representative who stated she would call me back within a week and advise on the status of the account status being brought back to timely. I then received a refund for the amount as i stated originally, because the amount was incorrect. I spoke to the CEO's secretary who was disgustingly rude telling me that ** made no mistake and will not change the status of the past due amount EVEN though their employee told me this would be reversed and to not pay the full amount. I am told they only go by their employee's word and there was no recording of the phone call.

I had my car repossessed after missing two payments. That is not the issue though the issue is the process used after the repossession. I have the money after a week of when my car was took. I called to retrieve my car but was told I can not get it back bc the business they use to tow is only open to tow only on weekend and not to assist with retrieving cars back. This is unethical as they towed my car on a Sunday and can not assist to find if my car is at auction yet until Monday but still wanted me to pay what I owe even if my car is gone. I received a letter in the mail marked 4/8/25 which is only two days after towing my car that it might be put up for auction. Less than two weeks to come up with the money that I now owe and is double the price that I actually owe. Im behind two payments that are ***** but I now owe ***** and that doesnt include the auction fees they are now adding on after only 2 days of planning to sell it. *** had this car since 2022 so this is not a brand new car that was bought and is behind. My desired resolution is that they fix this process because its not right to be available in making a situation worse but not available to help when someone calls to fix the issue.

Dear BBB I am reaching out after trying to resolve this with GM and the dealership with no success. On December 16, 2024, I purchased a brand new 2025 ***** Equinox EV with only 10 miles for $35,000. Within weeks, it developed major electrical and charging issues. I brought it in for service in early January. It is now April, and I still do not have my car.I have driven it less than 30 days. It only has 400 miles, mostly from trips to the dealership. I briefly had it for two days in February before it was returned. Since then, I have been without it for over two months.I have had to switch loaner cars four times with little to no notice. I am told parts are on backorder with no timeline. This has disrupted my life. I planned to drive to ******* for my sisters graduation but may now have to pay out of pocket to attend.I shared my resolution options with a *** who said she would note them, but nothing was documented. The original *** has not contacted me since our first call. Another team member told me he just submitted a buyback request a full two months later and it was not even my preferred option.I was told I would not be reimbursed because I have a loaner. But I am paying an $860 car note a month for a vehicle I cannot use. ** offers this kind of coverage in other cases but told me I do not qualify simply because I have a loaner, which I find completely unfair as I have a warranty +insurance. I just want to be treated fairly for buying a brand new car that has been in the shop nearly the entire time I have owned it.What I am hoping for Reimbursement or coverage of my payments while it is in service Or a brand new ***lacement vehicle Or a full buyback only as a last resort, which helps neither of us since it would mean credit pulls and a full process I already went through in December I would prefer to stay in my contract and avoid filing under the Illinois Lemon Law but I need a real resolution. I appreciate your help.Sincerely,***** *****

I am rejecting this response because: I did not speak with anyone on the April 14, 2025. I did not recieve any information regarding my case since the very beginning. I was told that **** were waiting on correspondence, and what's worse is I was told that the *** assigned to my case had only just processed a my last resort request last week after speaking to someone almost a month ago if not a full month ago. I also was told that my other requests weren't even in my notes despite me speaking to a young lady who assured me that she would put it in the notes. She also said she would speak to someone on my behalf. I bought a brand new 2025 vehicle from ********* on Dec 16, 2024 and I drove it less than 30 days. I need a resolution that makes sense.

      My case number is 9-14686454400.

I look forward to hearing back.

I leased a brand new vehicle from a local dealship in November of 2022. It was a 24 month lease financed through GM Financial. I returned the vehicle to the dealership and received a bill from GM Financial for over $2,000.00 I expected the $395 lease return fee, but the addtional $2,000 for the vehichle that had no damage was unexepected. I called and was told that I had received a "bad paint job" and that it had to be repainted and the charge was $2,231.96. I explained that I did not have a new vehicle repainted. I was instructed to call my dealership and request the work order for a new paint job. I contacted the General Manager and he assured me they did not paint a new vehicle. I let GM Financial know and they still claim I owe them $2,231.96. I sent a letter disputing the amount and received no response. I called and asked for dispute resolution and was told there was no place to dispute the charge. Now they reported me and it is effecting my credit report. I have leased vehichles for decades and this is the first time I have been sent such an egregious bill.
