Before enrolling I was not informed that this type of school/course does not provide 1:1 tutoring or an option to just better understand the subject for the Medical Billing and Coding program. I was able to complete 85% of the course but towards the end I could grasp the basic concepts to excel in the state test and then seek a career. I feel small details should be disclosed so someone has the opportunity to make a better judgement before enrolling. They are billing me for over $1,700+ dollars and I dont feel it is right due to the dishonesty and lack of knowledge. There were also times in the course when certain slides werent even available to view so that is another issue at hand. I also was given 2022 books when there was only 4 months left in the year so I would have needed 2023 books to be updated on new codes and HCPCS levels; I feel I should not have to pay for this course at all.

    Business response

Information regarding how our programs are structured and supported is available both online and via our registration advisors for any questions or concerns a potential student may have. ************** was paired with a registration advisor prior to enrolling in the program who could, and did, answer any questions she had for nearly 6 months prior to enrolling in her program.  Additionally, her questions posed during her enrollment regarding textbooks, instructor support and content comprehension were answered in line with our response policies.  While we regret that ************** is now dissatisfied with her class, given that she previously communicated her desire to continue her program after her outstanding bill was sent to collections and that this is the first communication she has submitted in the 11 months since then, we will not be providing an exception to our refund policy.  Her outstanding debt for the tuition fees she incurred will remain active with our collections agency and we will not issue a refund for the fees paid to date.

I am enrolled in a mental health technician certification program through World Education LLC. From the time I started I have encountered issues with the help desk (not getting proper help, not getting responses in a reasonable time, and being straight up ignored) and have the proof. I have tried reaching out to the help desk NUMEROUS times and still keep encountering the same issue. I am missing resources that would help me truly learn and be able to practice or study. I am having to guess on test because information is not provided or done so incorrectly/in a manner that does not make sense (overlapping info on slides). I am TRYING to get proper help to complete this certification. It should not take over a week let alone longer than a month for a students issues to be resolved. Even when I repeat emails I get the response they are working on it still, so I wait again for about a week then ask again for help or answers and still nothing. When I keep asking they then say the issues has been pushed up chain of command but yet over a month later (so to this day still) I have not received proper help to complete this certification. I have tried reaching out to any and everybody I can find that would have any possible answers or contact info and still have gotten NOWHERE. I have even filed a complaint once and showed their lack of trying and was booted. I have paid money for this course and would like to complete it and deserve the bare minimum to do so. That includes PROPER help with my schoolwork since I am an online student and they have 0 contact info anywhere to be found on their site. And I will put it out there it does not matter when I started the program, could've been last week. The fact I have been enrolled for over a year and still have the same old and new problems continuously says a lot. The issue is not me, nor the schoolwork. The issue is the business and their lack of professionalism and not being held accountable, look at the ****** reviews.

I started my medical coding course with them back in July. Everything was fine since I understand the course is self study. I paid for the schooling for self study, but also for the fact that I would have a teacher to be in communication with if anything were to come up. I messaged the teacher once, never got a response. Didnt think much of it until the help desk email wouldnt answer SOME of my communication requests. Until I finally got frustrated with the lack of communication which in the handbook I can receive a refund if the schooling isnt what I thought it turned out to be. I brought up my concern for the lack of communication and trying to receive a refund, since at this point Im paying so much for hardly any communication, to the help desk and immediately received a phone call to sort out my complaint. Ive yet to hear from them now.
