      I wanted to read an article online that you'd posted, but when I tried, a pop up appeared indicating that I didn't have a current subscription & offered me a 30 day promo for .99 cents + tax. I accepted the promo & provided my debit card info.. Afterwards, I attempted to read the article again & your aystem didn't recognize that I'd renewed my subscription. That was extremely frustrating, so I tried to cancel my ************** system wouldn't let me. So, I called in earlier today to ensure that my subscription was canceled. I asked the gentleman if he was going to refund what I'd paid & he said that he'd be happy to ensure that I was able to enjoy my subscription until the promo ended. That wasn't what I asked & have no interest in spending more time with something that didn't work when I'd paid for it. Whatever, a dollar & some change wasn't worth my of my time. Now, I've thought about it. A dollar & change isn't that big of a deal, but what does it say about a news organization that is okay with keeping people's money like that? You expect me to trust that what you write & report is true? I don't think so! Y'all should be ashamed of yourselves. I think that I'll post this feedback far & wide.Maybe, just maybe, it'll make you think about your business practices. I'm certain that it'll help prevent others from make the same mistake that I did. Why don't you report about that?

      When we re-newed our paper subscription last year, we were told it would expire on 4/4/2024. We cancelled that subscription on 3/4/2024 after receiving a renewal bill that said it was due in February but they kept delivering the paper for about a month. Then we get a bill for $140.52. I called several times and they finally changed my balance to $0. Then I receive a notice from A.R.M (a collection agency) for $25.60. I called ST again and they said they had notified A.R.M. to change it to $0 balance due. I asked the Star Telegram people to send me an email stating that I have a $0 balance with them and A.R.M. I called them on 4/24, 4/28, 4/29, 5/1, 5/3, and 5/7 asking for the email. They said every time I would get it within ***** hours. I never received that email. ALL I WANT IS AN EMAIL FROM THE STAR TELEGRAM STATING I HAVE A ZERO BALANCE AND THEY HAVE NOTIFIED A.R.M. THAT THERE IS NOTHING TO COLLECT. That's it.

      Trying to login to digital account, they want approval to track and share my information, there is no option to say no. I paid for digital, but they will not let me use it without allowing them to track me.So called customer service is absolutely no help.

      I have asked Star telegram over and over and over again to stop delivering the weekly sale ads to my addresses, I did not subscribe for the papers and I do not want the papers, I have two properties next to each other , my actual home and a vacant lot that has no home or anything on it but yet they make deliveries to it, Star telegram is illegal dumping and littering trash on to my properties,the papers are thrown in the streets in puddles of water on top of dog ****, it sometimes come out of the bag and blows over my yard and the neighborhood, it is so unbelievable that no one at Star telegram can seem to stop this deliveries

      My renewal check did not get posted for four weeks, a day after I reluctantly agreed to pay with my debit card.Two weeks later, I have not gotten the refund of my $160.00 check, despite various claims by the *******, ******** subscription office of the newspaper that my request had been "expedited".Delay & ignore, this branch of the Fort Worth paper SUCKS!

      Dont ever give Star Telegram monthly drafting privilege on you credit card , they are crooks , ignore cancel e-mails and when I block them from card , claim can never find my e-mail even though I received a confirmation of such . Not good form for any business.

      Had subscription for over 38 years. Paper content and delivery got so bad we decided to cancel subscription in December of 2022. Notified by phone to cancel. January 2023 we still get papers. I called our delivery person and she said it was a grace ****** to let me make up my mind. I told her that I didnt need a grace ******. In April I received an invoice for the grace ******. Having dealt with this horrible organization about billing prior to this time, I decided to jut pay the bill and be fine with them. Update: Paid bill in April 17. Received collection letter April 25. Called collection company. No help. DO NOT USE THIS PAPER. They will s**** you every time.

      Cancelled subscription over a year ago when delivery of paper was moved to digital only. When rep informed me of the change I requested cancellation. Also sent an email trying to confirm subscription was cancelled. Got a renewal notice last month anyway. Called number on bill but the phone number was not in service. Now they are trying to collect 80$ for subscription that wasnt cancelled. Very shady dealings here.

The account was changed to digital on 12/6/22. but then changed back to home delivery on 12/8/22. Your account expired on 12/25/22. Since we do not stop subscriptions automatically, the account continues on a grace ******* The renewal sent on 11/21/22 states the account will continue unless we are notified. We do apologize if your request was not handled.       My elderly parents have not only been consistently charged as much as 4x the going rate of the paper after 35+ years as customers upon obtaining a lower rate the customer service **** is attempting to collect an amount post refund to up the previous year back to $1200. The going rate is $9/ wk ( what they agreed to charge me folks as they do not use the digital). They were attempting to charge $1500. Their neighbors are paying $500. For the same service and have been for several years. This is age and location discrimination. My parents live lake front while the neighbors are canal. This is despicable. We would like the harassment for the $650 to stop, refund for the years prior to equal the the going rate at the time, the continued future rate at no more than $9/wk. military, senior rates should apply. How many other people are they overcharging for three exact same service? Same delivery area, same paper, ect. There should be a law.. thank you.

      I have called several times as well as asked ******* to have a supervisor contact me to review prior billing, the prior missed papers/calls reporting missed papers less the ice storm over the last two years for credit( how do they track the missed papers for credit when increasing billing costs), and to review the increase in the billing. NO ONE HAS RETURNED THE CALLS. ******* CALLED TO COLLECT THE $600+ from 9/22-12/22+400+ = $1100 for 2022-2023. This does not compute. Please explain how the Star telegram is allowed to operate under these terms with 5 houses up they pay and have been paying approx $450 / yr for years!

      My husband died and I canceled paper subscription. Paper continued to arrive. I called and said why are papers still coming. Agent said I was in grace ******* I said I called and cancelled. She said was there anyone else that wanted the paper delivered. I said let me check with his ashes.. really??? Then today I get a bill for papers that arrived during this 'grace' *******.. what now ...
