Our pool was built in 2021, we started the process early in the year. We interviewed with 4 plus pool builders (at no charge) and **** Miller was our choice. He came in person and throughout the negotiation process he was very straight forward and made us feel at ease. He warned us of the delays due to the supply chain and we knew it was going to take time and will not have a pool for the summer. Our pool was ready by December of 2021, he was available for communication via phone which is very much appreciated, same with office staff. They are very knowledgeable, diligent and experienced. This review after 2 years should tell you that our opinion has not changed and we recommend **** Miller. We're happy with our pool, wish we have chosen the water feature with the light instead of the regular one for our wall but our pool is beautiful and we have been enjoying it with friends and family. We know use **** Miller for pool maintenance, thank you ****************** and staff!

I contracted with Paul Miller Custom Pools to build the pool of my dreams. As a Disabled Veteran, it was to have been a form of therapy, mentally and physically. From my own experience, I began to notice lack of attention to detail and the quality of work began to suffer. I began to lose confidence the further this experience went on. I was overcharged on a change-order--when I brought this to the attention of the owner's son [****] his excuse was he "had too many things flying across his desk and not sure where that amount came from. This whole process felt like haggling with a used car dealer over and over for 4 long, excruciating months, except this is a small, family-ran business, so there is no "higher up" for any sort of practical resolution; the Miller Family all take up for each other. There were erosion and drainage issues that were promised to be cleaned up (to me and the City), but never happened; wrong-sized rebar was installed (that had to be removed and replaced), and several other issues that are limited due to allowed characters in this posting. This leads to the second biggest problem I experienced: complete lack of communication. If you want to be involved with your own pool, look elsewhere. I brought my concerns to the owner (****) and explained to him my concerns. This led to another call to his office for a family meeting. During this 2+ hour hostile meeting (recorded), I was told point blank "Communication is not in the contract and whatever you do get is how it's done!" Not the type of company I signed up with. The biggest issue was **** terminating the contract in the final phase and almost *immediately* filing an Affidavit of Lien against my home...my home that I worked hard for and sacrificed over 21 years in uniform to purchase. I paid as I went, so I wasn't behind on any payments...I felt **** and **** wanted out of the contract and this was their way at getting back at me for holding them accountable for their otherwise shoddy work.

Working with Paul Miller Custom pools was a surprisingly comfortable experience. ****, ****, and **** went at our pace with no pressure, helping us determine that we purchased exactly what we wanted. The whole process was completed in approximately ten weeks, heated pool and hot tub. **** and staff were very helpful and responsive answering our questions when choosing to manage our own pool. **** was very helpful during the ***************************** on protecting our pool and equipment. Since 2020, weve only had two warranty calls that were addressed within 2-3 days. We will be entering our 4th summer with our pool and I am very satisfied with our choice of Paul Miller Custom Pools.

**** and *** were very responsive and delivered a beautiful pool ahead of schedule. We really appreciated the creative alternatives the company brought forward in creating our pools design in order to meet our budget requirements.

My husband was unexpectedly hospitalized for 78 days. I was at the hospital a lot and I needed some help with the pool. I reached out to Jodi and Paul ******* As busy as they were, they came to my rescue. I love my new pool and they are amazing to work with.

DO NOT CONTRACT WITH PAUL MILLER CUSTOM POOLS! ONE STAR IS WAY TO HIGH!!!!!He built a pool for us, completed in September 2019, and it is FALLING APART!!! Starting at 6 months, waterline tiles started falling off the wall. 75% are now debonded! The mortar is falling out of the rock wall and grout lines. Rocks in the wall are loose. Iron staining is coming through the waterline tiles. Have been told may indicate re-bar corrosion in the gunite/shell bond beam. Have to tear into it to find out reason. Water leak coming out of the spa down the side of the nearby skimmer wall. Since day one we have had excessive build up of ellforense!!! He takes no responsibility for the poor workmanship, Tries to blame freeze damage for all his poor workmanship. NOT SO, SAYS OTHER CONTRACTORS!!! Ignores all calls, emails and certified postal mailings. Refused to respond to the BBB regarding our complaint. Poor customer service and shoddy work! Funny, his company philosophy is "Anything worth doing is worth doing right. This simple idea has guided our construction process since we were founded." AND his goal is "To build the highest quality swimming pools using only the best materials and the most skilled craftsmen." WE GOT NONE OF THIS!!!!!!! We are now looking at about $10,000 to fix HIS shoddy workmanship!Would LOVE to place photos here. BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!

Paul Miller Custom Pools is nothing short of an exceptional company. The project started with the owner showing up at my house and verifying measures and checking out project. From there ***** invited us in and brought up on T.V. our project to get a visual of design and show us what each option that we picked, what it looked like. ***** also met my wife and I to pick tile and show examples. ****, the field manager contacted us every step of the way to explain each step and let us know what crew would be there and when. **** also responded to every message, usually within minutes. **** also came out on his own time and helped us install our street lights that we installed by pool.. Our pool took about 3 months to complete and we could not be any happier with finished product or the professionalism of every employee that works there. If you are looking for a custom pool, do not hesitate to call Paul Miller Custom Pools. By the way I never leave feedback. However this company has far exceeded my expectations.

Thank you so much for the kind words *****. We are thrilled to hear we exceeded your expectations, and I hope we continue to exceed your expectations as you move into the warranty phase. We are here for you if you need anything. I hope you and your family are enjoying your pool.
