We were getting our bathroom remodeled and our contractor said we could go to ProSource at *************************************************************. We were told they had a professional staff that could help us pick out everything that we would need to complete the job. First we sat down with a lady who helped us with the flooring, the tile, and a few other things. Then we were directed to a lady who was in charge of plumbing. She had us pick out the vanity counter top, the sinks, and the necessary plumbing pieces necessary for the shower operation. She had us look through a catalog and we told her we wanted a certain shower package. No I have to mention there was no plumber present at this meeting and you will see why I bring that up. We were told she would order all the necessary items and then let us know what it would cost and she did.When those items arrived at our house they were in a large box and the invoice number for each item was attached on the outside of the box. I checked those numbers against the invoice i received from ProSource and it matched. There was no plumber present at that time. Later I open the large box and checked those numbers again to make sure they were in the box.When the plumber arrived he asked me for the valve that goes in the wall and I pulled it out of the box and he installed it. He said he would be back after all the tile was installed. He came back a few days later and asked for the shower head(s) and the other items for the shower. At that point he told me ProSource had sent the wrong valve. I have a copy of the ProSource inventory and one from ******** (the distributor) and in fact the wrong valve was ordered. I have tried to get *** ********************************* to correct the damage but he continues to blame the problem on the plumber. The plumber was not present when things were ordered nor delivered. ProSource caused the problem by not ordering the correct valve that goes with the rest of the shower set and they will not pay to fix the their problem.
