After looking for three months, I finally found the camper I wanted at Camping World in ************ and scheduled an appointment with one of the senior sales experts. When I arrived for the meeting, I was shuffled off to one of her assistants who had no idea what I was looking for. After looking for the camper for 30 minutes, I finally gave up and told the assistant to go find it, then come back and get me. Since he was unable to answer any of my questions, we went back to the office and I asked him to give me a preliminary price quote. The list price of $14,000 turned out to be $17,000 after the dealership added numerous items I didn't want or request. After we finally settled on a reasonable price, the assistant told me that I could pay the balance putting half on a credit card and the other half by personal check. Two days later he called me and asked if I could come back to the dealership (a 45 minute drive) and sign the paperwork so they could include the camper in their February sales. I agreed, but when I arrived he wanted me to talk to the financial expert to arrange for my loan. When I reminded him I was paying cash he said I could go home. When I came back six days later to pay the balance and pick up the camper, I was told by their finance guy that they had a $5000 limit on credit cards and that the check had to be a cashier's check from my bank. I was furious and went home to rearrange my accounts to accommodate their policies. I returned the next day, paid the balance due, and then waited for them to get the trailer ready for me. When I looked over the camper, it was obvious that they had not even cleaned it, let alone fixed any of the small problems that I pointed out during my initial visit. For the $600.00 I paid all they did was add a battery and a propane tank. At age 73, *** purchased many vehicles including campers and boats. This was by far my worst experience.

If I could put a minus one, I would! Shysters from beginning to end, overpriced, devalue your trade. Their service department is absolutely the worst on the planet they don't fix anything not to mention they just don't care. We brought our trailer back three times with the same problem, and it was never fixed at all ever. They had it for three weeks. When I told the had Service person that I was fed up and I was going to call corporate. He actually laughed in my face and said so what they won't do anything. Their mechanics or so-called mechanics are in Apted Best and stupid everyone that works there is rude and unprofessional. They don't care about their customers or the products that they sell. They also sold us a trailer hitch that was missing half of the parts. We almost lost our trailer twice while pulling it on the freeway. I had a mechanic look at it and he told me it was an incomplete faulty hitch. I have the paperwork showing that I purchased it at Camping World when I called them about it they said too bad we're not going to fix it or replace it. If our trailer would've come off, it would've killed us and everybody else on the road and they thought that was kind of funny. Wow what kind of sick people are they and the fact they're still in business just shocks me!

We met with Tye at Camping World in ********** and the games he and his managers play are appalling. Don't waste your time there, they will try to wear you down and make you spend hours building your "profile" and confusing you. They are not honest, don't trust them. I would select 0 stars if I could.

I would never recommend anyone go to Camping World to buy a camper. The salesman either didn't know what he was talking about or lied to get me to drive to their store when he told me my ATV would fit in their Toy Hauler. Then after settling on a price they were going to force me to pay an additional $1,000 just for propane tanks and a battery (couldn't remove it). I decided to sleep on it and put down a refundable $1,000 check deposit. The next day I decided I didn't like how I was treated and let them know I didn't want the camper and they couldn't tell me what was going to happen to my check. Multiple emails to the sales manager and corporate office with zero response after multiple weeks. Have since talked to others that say they have had similar experiences. Wish I knew that before I went in there.

I purchased a **** Coachmen Mirada on April 11, 2022. I was told that inspections had been done and completed however the engine coolant tank had to be replaced. This was my first time taking on the road to have interior work done on it. However didn't quite make it to destination in **** ** from ********* **. We made it to ************ which drive is 80 miles. My drive shaft fell off while traveling on highway I35 which I could had died by flipping over and taken several others to their death. Luckily we were right by an exit. All alone I thought it was just the drive shaft and damage to the left side holding compartment until AAA was called for towing. There seem to be more damage and the list is here: The carrier bearing burnt up which caused drive line to move excessively which also caused the ears on the yoke on the transmission to break and in return caused transmission to move and caused belt housing to break. All of this could had been prevented if Camping World would had lubricated bearings instead they did nothing and could had caused me my life. I feel as if they aren't trying to solve the issues due to it being a cash offer/ as is. I have spoken with corporate and camping world associates. Ft. Worth Camping World is stating they do not do chassis work and that they'll will contact ***** However when I ask are they going to cover expenses? They stated they have to talk to someone in headquarters of ***** My whole 401k is depleted on a motorhome on wheels. I am a disabled veteran and all of this is causing me undo hardship and my health conditions to worsen. I gave them the opportunity to resolve these issues by repairing or refunding me my monies. I have no where else to turn so help me God.... and BBB
