      I was promised that by getting solar panels with them my light bill would be no more. I have been getting a light bill ever since. This company misleads customers. I complained before and they reached out right away asking me to put down my complain and they would resolve the issue. Once complaint was taken down they forgot about me. I see that I am not the only customer complaining about the same issue. I want more panels at not charge so that I would stop having a light bill just like they said.

      I have had my solar panels hooked up since October 2023, my first bill with solar was November 2023. The solar panels are not producing that the salesman promised me. He showed me another customer bill which was over $300 but with the solar the customer received a credit of over $300 that made his bill $0. I think that **** was a fake sales tactics because my bill never went that low. My best credit was $19.14. I contacted southern solar about my concerns. She told me to send her copy of my bills. After the review she e-mailed me back with the explanation of the bills she said I quote "your system is helping you tremendously". My February 2023 bill was $245 with the panel loan payment $110, total 355. How is that tremendously helping me? My highest bill I ever paid was $248 in March 2022 without the solar panels and the loan payment. My avg. Bill in 2023 (12 months) was $124 without solar. With solar panels (5 months) avg bill $127 with $110 loan, total $237. Question: How is that tremendously helping me? I wouldn't have signed up for solar if the salesman told me I would only get a credit of $19.14, but he showed me a bill of another customer with a credit of $300 with $0 electric bill, that's when I said ok and the $110 loan would be worth it.

      Paid $22,500 for 10 panels system that was supposed to cut my power bill from$200/month to $75/month. It doesnt produce what they said it would. And calls to the company have been almost futile. I feel scammed.

      Weve had solar panels for over a year now and they are not producing or giving us the results that the Southern Solar salesman promised. Our electricity costs have gone way up and along with the loan payments for the panels we are paying way more than we were told it would be. We feel like we have been scammed. We have attached the amount of each electric bill since March of 2023.The amounts have continuously gone up! The last two bills are much higher than any bill weve ever had. We regret agreeing to have the panels installed through Southern Solar. They told us what they needed to make the sale! They were supposed to make an analysis of the energy usage and with that information install the panels needed so that the house has enough energy coming from the panels. We were told that we would not have an electricity bill and we want the results promised, as this is a huge expense. We are now paying more than we were paying without the solar panels plus we also have the loan payment. We have called Southern solar and they ended up sending a tech out to check the panel op eration. The tech found 4 inverters that arent working properly, our consumption meter was never turned on and some wiring that was installed wrong. The inverters had to be ordered. We are still waiting on those to be changed out. In the meantime, we called Southern Solar try discussing compensation for their misrepresentation. We were asked to send in our last three bills for review. We received an email stating that they would not be paying us anything and thats just how well the panels are going to work. Also, weather was used as an excuse for the higher, much higher, bills. As far as we are concerned, Southern Solar failed to resolve our issues. We will be contacting our lawyer to discuss filing a lawsuit against them unless they fix our issues to our satisfaction.

      This company sold me a solar system and told me that my electric bill would never exceed $45.00 per month. They told me the system would be monitored and if any issue's ever came up they would send out a crew to get it repaired and back online. They never monitor the system and my electric bill has never been as I was told. They always have some excuse as to why it never works as I was told. I have been trying to get them to fix the issues and all I get is a runaround. I am at my **** end **** end with this company and have give them every chance to let them fix the issue. I really wanted to go solar and not be dependent on the electric company's. My solar system is inadequate, and seems to always have issues and they are very slow to get it backup and it never produces as advertised. Right now at the very best I am dependent on the grid 56% of the time. Electric bills run from $95.00 to $435.00 dollars a month plus a $235.00 month payment on panels.

      I am rejecting this response because: I have gave you every opportunity to resolve this before this action was taken. I am tired of your excuses and not resolving this issue before now. It is time for you to act by refunding my money or fixing the issue and repaying me for all the added expense I have been out by paying extremely high electricity bills

      I am rejecting this response because: the crew came out and moved the panels but it didnt help the situation. Full sunshine today and I am still 78% dependent on the grid. Per our conversation you were going to add more panels not just change the location of existing panels. I dont even have the heat or air conditioning on today and still at78%.

      I am rejecting this response because: Your team didnt convey anything to me except they were here to move the existing panel as we had discussed. That is all they told me they were here to do. All the panels were move except one which they were asking me what to do with the remaining panel. I am not experienced in this matter. He wanted to put it under a tree limb and I told him it would be better to leave it where it was than to put it under a tree limb. You really need to have someone on site that knows what is going on. I will call you on this tomorrow.

      It's been a year since my solar installed I had no saving the panels did not produce the whole year as advertised. They told me they would evaluate them and I have heard nothing. I would not use this company. I was better with out solar.

      Southern Solar Misleading advertising and false impression. As many other other customers I was lied to by seller of solar panels. The promise/selling point was that my light bill would be eliminated and if anything I would pay only about $15 to $20. I as can see I was not the only one being mislead by the switch to solar panels. They supposed to make an analysis of the energy usage and with that information install the panels needed so that the house has enough energy coming from the panels. Now it looks like they are putting the blame on the light company. I was told that I would not have a light bill and I want the results promised. This is a huge expense. Now I have to pay more than was I was paying without the panels. It makes none sense at all. My bills were always less than $150. Two or three bills $198 in Summer. Now I have to pay $140+ light bill on Summer plus the panels. How was going Solar better?. How did it eliminated my light bill?. How is Southern Solar going to fix this issue?
