My transmission went out on my truck. I took it to Ammco. They quoted me a price and time frame. When it wasn't ready I complained and was told it would be ready by the end of the day. (Ammco had not even pulled the transmission yet). I told them I would be back the next day. When I picked up my truck they charged me more than the quoted price. I paid because I needed my truck. A couple days later I was driving to the deer lease and about 75- 100 miles from home my truck started smoking and transmission fluid was going everywhere. I had to pay est 600 to tow back to ammco. The manager was very rude and told me I should never have drove my truck that far ( but they fixed my transmission, so why can't I drive my truck). They repaied the truck. I went to pick it up and now the transmission over heats every day. I contacted ammco and the manager insisted nothing is wrong with my transmission. I have called customer service with no response and sent the owners a email with no response. I want either my money back so I can have it fixed correctly or I want then to fix it correctly. Plus I want the tow fee refunded to me.

I had my vehicle towed to AAMCO Transmission in November 2022, and it was there until February 2023 due to an accident requiring a new transmission. Financial constraints made it necessary for me to stay updated on my car's status. I made weekly calls to ensure my vehicle's security and check for any outstanding charges.******, the person I interacted with, consistently reassured me that my car was safely stored and that no repairs would begin until I had the necessary funds. I was also told that parking was free, which factored into my decision. However, I was shocked to later discover that ******, the representative from the Camp Bowie, **********, ** location, took it upon himself to contact my bank, inexplicably insisting they repossess my vehicle, alleging my neglect. It's crucial to emphasize that throughout my vehicle's time at AAMCO, I never defaulted on car loan payments and remained up-to-date on monthly payments. As a result of ******'s actions, my vehicle was repossessed, leading to a $13,000 debt.Regrettably, when I approached ****** to address the issue, his professionalism was lacking. He laughed at my concerns and disregarded my questions about the bank call and decision-making. Shockingly, when I requested to speak with a manager to resolve the issue, he asserted he was the manager.******'s conduct during this ordeal was marked by deep disrespect, compounded by gender bias. He belittled me and referred to me as "stupid." He seemed to have difficulty speaking to me because I'm a woman. To substantiate this claim, I had multiple male colleagues contact ****** on my behalf, and he treated them respectfully. To irrefutably demonstrate his gender bias and sexism, I had my mother and a female friend call, and they, too, encountered disrespect from *************The repossession of my vehicle has had a lasting impact on my credit history, significantly reducing my credit score, rendering me unable to secure a new car, and affecting my financial situation.

My transmission had to be rebuilt by this place in Sept 2022. It took longer than expected then. Less than 6 months later it faulted out again. I tried to get my warranty service to send me elsewhere but they refused due to it being covered under workmanship warranty. I dropped my car off July 25th and was told it needed to be rebuilt again. I have called every week checking on it and I get, "it's going to have to be rebuilt and will take a couple of weeks. I have been told 2 weeks EVERY TIME I CALL. Now I am supposed to start at a new job and have been without my car for 4 weeks and they won't even entertain the idea of a rental car which at least the original time I got reimbursed for. I want reimbursed for ALL transportation expenses I incur after July 8th, which was 2 weeks after it being left for them to fix their mistake.

I took my 2017 Buick Enclave to Aamco located at **** Camp Bowie Blvd. I took my 2017 Buick Enclave to Aamco located at **** Camp Bowie Blvd. ********** ** for a problem with my transmission. They rebuilt transmission and called me a week and a half later and said it wouldnt go into gear and had to redo it. Then they called and said I needed a new battery. Just replaced battery less than a month ago. They replaced battery anyway without my approval and tried to charge me an additional $160 for it after I told them I would come pick up old battery and have it exchanged. After another week of waiting they told me vehicle was ready. I went to pick it up and told them to take their battery out and Id go exchange mine. I did that and they refused to put it back in for me. And wouldnt make adjustment on invoice for it. Then started yelling at me calling me a F****** a****** because I told him he wasnt a good business man to treat a customer that way. Im 71 years old and had to do it myself after spending $7000 with them. They also charged my credit card at the beginning of service before I ever did any work. ********** ** for a problem with my transmission. /I took my car in to have a transmission fluid flush on 01/05/22. Verbally confirmed with Aamco in ********** ***** to only have the transmission fluid done as the mechanic said it would be an extra $200 for the oil change to be added in. My total was already 359. I get called 01/07/22 to come pay for my car that it was ready. I directly drove it to my driveway and parked it until today. 01/09/22. Its gone about 45miles according to the exit paperwork from the company on 01/07/22. my check engine light is now on and flashing at me and my car is idling so rough, its shaking my rosary on my rearview mirror. i did call the store despite it being Sunday and website saying closed. I was prepared to leave a voicemail however the phone was answered by the absolute rudest male receptionist.
