Do not book anything through Gastehaus Schmidt. If your a woman, your safety is at risk.

Unfortunately, one of our employees made an honest mistake and showed up in the driveway of a property before this guest's check-out time. He did not get out of his vehicle, nor did he see or interact with the guest in any way. He left immediately when he realized he arrived at the property at the wrong time. There are no safety concerns at all. This was all confirmed by the doorbell camera on the property.

March 31-April 2, My Husband and I stayed in God's Country Cabin's (Mercy) in **************. *****. The Reservation was made thru Gastehaus Schmidt Reservation Service. Reservation #*****. No Where on the Gastehaus Schmidt or God's Country Cabin's website it states the whole entire cabin was a ****** System. We arrived late on Friday at 8:30 pm and everything was working fine. Saturday morning, my husband, myself, my son and Granddaughter had all used the Toilet. By that evening, 6 pm Saturday, the Toilet was not draining right and the Toilet was clogged. We contacted the owner, ****, of ******************** and informed him of the situation. We were told a **************** would be called and if anything was pulled out that we felt that could have been our fault of the clogging would we be willing to pay the Plumbing Cost. I agreed. The Toilet was clogged but Nothing was pulled out from the **************** that indicated it could have been our fault. Anything could have been building up from anything that was clogging the Toilet. We were stucked at 9 pm, no where to go and heated words were exchanged from **** and us and we had no choice but to pay the Plumbing Bill of $335.78. The policy sheet left on the bar states a $200 damage fee would be applied to any damage. We agreed to the $200 damage fee to **** but **** refused to refund any amount to ** due to stratches left in the Toilet by the **************** **** had called which the ******* told us that could be cleaned with *****. I feel we should not be responsible for any Plumbing Bill of $335.78. Just Beware these Cabins are All ****** and ****** Systems are very sensitive to any thing. The Website does not mention at all about ****** Systems in all their Cabins.
