      This law firm was contacted by me to see if they would be willing to take my case. The person who answered the phone told me the price per hour for thier services was approximately $500 if they took my case. They requested I send them documents to better understand my situation & to determine if they could help me. After sending the documents, I received an email stating the attorney was "unable to assist" me with this matter & included a referral to a different law firm. Days later, I RECIEVED A BILL IN THE MAIL FOR $510.00! At no time did anybody state that I would be charged for reviewing the documents (over the phone or in any of the emails I received from ****** ******) & at no time was I informed of a "Consultation Fee"! The price they quoted me was IF THEY AGREED TO TAKE MY CASE. When I called them to question the bill, the woman said that I was told that I would be charged & when I insisted that I was NOT, she told me to "do what I think I should do".

      We strive to provide excellent customer service and have investigated the matter thoroughly. It is our understanding that there has been a miscommunication between parties (you and staff). We are taking immediate steps to address your concerns with our staff and are committed to ensuring this does not happen again. 

      Unfortunately, we do not offer free consultations. All prospective clients are billed for legal services/review time. It is not typical of our staff to miscommunicate this information. As a resolution, we are offering to discount your invoice by (50%) fifty percent. The discounted invoice is attached to this response.

      I am rejecting this response because: although I am please that you acknowledge there was a "miscommunication," the fault was not my own, but that of your staff. They did not make me aware of the possibility that I would be charged a Consultation Fee, because if they would have, I deffinately would not have agreed. This is extremely evident because of the fact that my case has been turned down by so many law firms in the past. Why would I agree to pay that much money with little to no hope that yall would help?!?

      The only satisfactory resolution is for you to withdraw the invoice.
