Southern provided residential painting services on 4/5/22. Southern damaged the recently installed floor in the master bedroom. The crew hid the damage of the floor with an exercise cycle. I immediately called the supervisor, who came out that same day. The flooring company who originally installed the floor provided an estimate ($2,841.02). The flooring company informed me the warranty would be void if anyone other than them repaired the floor. The Southern manager said the cost was too high and he was investigating next steps. I emailed the Southern manager on 4/20. No response. I called the Southern main number on 4/26. No response. I called the Southern main number on 4/29. No response. I texted the Southern manager on 5/2. No response.

    Business Response

Business Response /* (1000, 9, 2022/06/02) */ We have communicated with the customer and have arranged to have damage repaired at no cost to homeowner. Work is scheduled with flooring company for June 6th. Consumer Response /* (3000, 11, 2022/06/06) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Southern Painting reached out to me 6/2 to make me aware that they had 6/6 as the repair date. I confirmed with Empire that the date is 6/10. I've passed that information along to Dave of Southern, via a phone call conversation on 6/6, and to Luke of Southern via a text message and an email (both of 6/6). Many thanks to Southern for the cooperation.
