Property management company has blatantly disregarded the maintenance requests that have been sent for rental property repair, some stemming back to November of '21. We have been repeatedly sent shady characters to enter the home when only my wife and children who are under 5 are there by themselves. All this has been met with resistance in the form of not responding and unprofessionalism. Today we were told our phone numbers would be blocked due to texting regarding repairs that have been in limbo for the better part of a week, all the while our water bill has been going up due to the lack of concern on the property management's part. We were told a licensed contractor was going to perform the repairs, upon my wife speaking with him she found out he was not in fact licensed, instead was a member of the maintenance team, we were then told he is not technically licensed nor a contractor but he was not employed by the company when we were told he was not. We have had the rent raised and have not received service that reflects the rent we are paying. This being a small part of the unpleasantries we have had to endure while we have been staying here, we were given a 12 hour notice to renew the lease while we were out of town for Easter, was told on Saturday (4/16) that we had to have an answer to them by that Sunday (4/17). We were billed $100 for not letting the un-licensed non contractor in the house after he was 30 min late for his appointment (2-4p).

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/08/02) */ Mr ******, The Handiman we sent is a plumber by trade and you were never told we were sending a licensed plumber. The original licensed plumber sent out to evaluate wanted 550.00 to fix a small item and the owner asked NewGen properties to call a Handiman which costs far less. Each time we attempted to send someone out you wouldn't let them in and there was confrontation each time. The plumber was at your home exactly at 4. I know this because he called me while in front of your home and I checked the timeline. I personally called you to let you know he was standing at your door and he stayed an additional 30 min waiting for you to open the door. You didn't reply, I called the owner of the property and they insisted you be charged a trip charge fee which is in accordance with your lease agreement. You were asked to stop texting the maintenance managers personal cell phone as you were very abusive. I told you you had to use the tenant portal for all future communication. Once a tech was inside working on the bathroom plumbing, you violently threw everything off the bath counter and quickly set up a camera to tape the worker in the bathroom. This is against the law, penal code 21.15 felony! Please note: Your lease will not be renewed.
