    I used A Star for 10 YEARS until August 2024 . They left me for 5 days without A/C in 100 plus temperatures - brought the WRONG parts to fix the problem then charged me AGAIN to return to the warehouse to get the correct parts and ANOTHER charge to come another day to my house. It was extremely stressful dealing with them - no compassion for my situation and no compensation for THEIR ERROR in picking up the wrong parts . I'll NEVER use them again. This is not the service I experienced for the past 10 years but it is NOW !! VERY UNETHICAL to DOUBLE charge the customer for their mistake. I am extremely disappointed in A Star as they had been a reputable and fair company prior to this experience. The owner would not admit and compensate for their mistakes. I really want to leave a ZERO star rating but site requires it.

    The end of May, our AC unit for upstairs and downstairs stop working. A repair man came out and fixed it . Then less than two months later, the upstairs unit stop cooling. Another repair man came out. This time the repair man stated what needed to be repaired along with several other repairs that was going to cost an additional $5000. I questioned as to why the other repair man that came out didnt discover these items, of course he said he didnt know. Well my lack of trust disappeared because all of these repair items did not happen over night since the last person was at our home

    My experience with A-Star was top notch. Very satisfied from start to finish. My technician *******, bent over backwards to make sure the issue I was having was resolved and that I was satisfied 100%. He explained everything with a high degree of knowledge and answered all of my questions. He was very friendly and honest. I will be requesting him for future maintenance.

    Zero Stars I do not recommend this company to anyone. The last contact I had with this company was in April of 2022, when their Tech came out to replace a part on one of the 2 outdoor A/C units (warranty was due to expire in Aug of 2022). The Tech stated to stop using filters and just let the A/C run until the system gave out. He proceeded to quote me $20,000 to install 2 new units. I called to complain to not send that Tech out ever again. Fast-forward to this year. They texted me for a Spring Maintenance, I texted them that I'm no longer trust their services or Techs and I was asked what would be a good time to be called back, I texted back the time and they never contacted me again. I finally had the opportunity to call today, as I thought I still had time left on the package they promote-due to the follow-up Spring Maintenance, to request a partial refund. She quickly confirmed my package was up some time in 2022. Of course! I asked who the Tech was that was sent out 04/2022, while she was looking it up, I found the $20k write-up and said his name is S... she had no idea who S... was, I then provided the number he noted on the quote and she said oh yeah that's so and so (for privacy reasons). I had another company come out for an inspection of the 2 A/C Units, and confirmed the 2 A/C units have a lot more life in them, with proper upkeep/maintenance. And I also requested a quote and it was way less than what A-Star quoted.

    I'm very disappointed to be Astar customer so far and do not feel the company is genuinely taking care of their customers. I had Astar installed a brand-new LENNOX 15 Seer about 1 year ago and used it only for 1 season in 2022; Now in January, the whole unit stopped working. Called Astar and they told me a cold story - first of all, The unit they installed has only 1 year labor warranty and since control board has some issue and it would cost $1,234.95 to repair it. Fortunately, I did not take it blindly and called the office. After long waiting and holding, my call finally got through to the technical service manager - ******. He acknowledged it is very rare to have a mechanical failure like this and tried to be helpful. But he sticks to the point I have to accept the fact that they only offer 1 year labor warranty and needs his manager's approval for further helping me out here. It's so disappointing that they installed an A/C unit with obvious defects but not willing to correct it. They care less of customer and little on customer's satisfaction.
