      On January 28, 2024 I called 1-800-GOT-JUNK to get a quote to remove a couch and love seat. They would not provide a quote until they showed up to look at the items. I was not okay with that because I wanted to know the cost up front and not be stuck with a cost that would be outrageous. The lady I talked to on the phone put me on hold and called the corporate office to get a cost. She came back with $198 plus tax. I was fine with that. When they showed up they wanted $498 plus tax. I told them that is not what was agreed to over the phone. They would not honor the price they told me over the phone and I had to pay extra to get the items removed. I had to have the items removed before the new furniture is delivered the next day. I want the difference back from what they told me over the phone and what they charged me.

    My wife and I called (800) Got Junk to have a sofa and two chairs hauled away. When they arrived they said the cost would be $400 and we agreed. When the charge came in on our credit card it was $537.37 My wife called the business multiple times about the discrepancy. Finally she spoke to an assistant manager who stated that the cost included an $80 tip. At no time was a tip authorized. No resolution has been offered.

    After contacting the corporate office I was refunded $83.80 from the business.
