    After 10 Years, the solid wood plantations shutters in our house still look brand new. We installed them on 42 windows of different sizes as well as on French doors, and every one works fine. We are very happy with with AE Blinds and Shutters and we can certaily recommend this company any time.

    I had shutters installed at a property in 2018 at the recommendation of a realtor. Had them installed at another property in 2022. The gaps at the top and bottom of the shutters were inconsistent throughout the home, letting different amounts of light in even within the same window which caused inconsistency to the eye. The issue was escalated and multiple employees didn't handle the situation to our satisfaction. I requested the owner touch base since I knew we had a better product the first time around. They sent guys out on a day I was in meetings virtually, without an appointment, argued with me about the amount of light coming in and I had to ask them to leave multiple times. They proceeded to stay outside and ring my doorbell and knock on my door intermittently for 20 minutes. Someone from the company had been texting me and I asked to please have them stop given I was in a virtual meeting and it just continued until finally they stopped. I'm reasonable, but my time is valuable too. Book an appointment to get this corrected. At this point, they are bullying me into paying for the remainder of the work that is not done right. Something must have happened to the company since covid because the quality and service did a complete 180. Worst experience I've ever had in dealing with any service contractor since my 12 years in Texas.

    We had the production framing guy come out with the installer to check out the gaps between frame and panel. We apologized to Ms ***** **** that production people are not as articulate or professional in their verbal communication. However we agreed to un-install and the products back and improve the gaps. After the improvement and the re-installation on Sept 19, 2022 Ms ***** **** responded to the owner by texting that she was happy and willing to pay remaining balance as the result. However when an office staff followed up 2 weeks later Oct 6, 2022 asking Ms ***** **** to close out the case, she started asking for $$. As a courtesy the office staff did offer $100 then $200 but she said that is the slap on the face because the amount was small.
