      I had an emergency transport from one hospital to the next in this ambulance that had no air conditioning on 8-28-22, the midst of summer! It had not curtains or any tint on the back of the window to limit the heat and sun from coming in so the *** tried to tack up a towel to help with my 45 minute transport to the medical center of ******* all the way from West *******. Then insult to injury, I get a "collection notice" from a collection company on behalf of this ambulatory company that NEVER even sent me an invoice for services or called to advise of any outstanding bill. I speak with the collection agency and they said they have an incorrect mailing address that they have been sending collection notices too, cannot give me any information from Allegiance on what address they used or notices they sent out, and then advised they were using a wrong phone number for me to leave messages. How could this even be when they get my drivers license to fill out all the medical forms from Allegiance? In addition, how could Allegiance never even mail out a billing invoice or letter to advise patrons of the amount owed, to be paid, and due date? Allegiance billing system and / or practices are not of quality, accuracy, and the services were HORRIBLE! Now, I have to work with a collection agency who also used bad address information and then ultimately reported this data on my credit report when it could have been paid within 30 days, with no problem, if Allegiance had properly mailed out a billing statement to me and / or provided invoice payment information for timely payment. This is the worst ambulatory service I have ever experienced in my life!

      ************** was charged for a 1.5 mile trip from Enhabit Health, The mileage was correct, but after Speaking to the Mayor of ******, she told me that they bill insurance for ambulance service via 911.******************* from the ************** made some inquiries about this trip. I called 911 on October 22 and was taken to HEB hospital (NO BILL). The hospital sent me to Enhabit Health less than a mile away. *** talked to an employee, **** and said she had no records of the trip from there to my home. I was told by several employees that they would supply transportation home. HOWEVER, no one told me there was a charge for it. Since Allegiance has no contract with the city, and I never called Allegiance, I told them to bill whoever called.The bill was TWELVE HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLARS AND CHANGE. I haven't paid because I thought it was a scam and STILL DO.
