************** Common v. Bespoke Medical Aesthetics & Wellness It came to my attention that I have been being charged an undisclosed percentage on top of service fees to my Care Credit Card. I have requested accurate documentation of services and fees and initially was refused. After several demands and informing the owner that I would be filing a dispute with Care Credit regarding the unauthorized fees, at this time the balance presented to me was $627.21. Once I requested detailed invoices and a copy of my file the owner and office manager became belligerent. After many requests for an accurate accounting, I was sent a completely inaccurate felonious recap of my supposed services rendered and costs thereof. My balance went from $627.21 owed to $4,446.21. Their new statement does not reflect an accurate accounting and exhibits fraudulent use of my credit card. When questioned about the percentage of Care Credit charges I never agreed to or signed anything agreeing to those charges or tips being given to any personnel. This is a malicious intent to intimidate and extort money from me.Your help would be most appreciated. Please advise. ************** Common

    Business Response

    Date: 03/22/2024

The patient has received services from our clinic for over 2 years now. She has refused to pay her outstanding invoices since September 2023. On multiple occasions, patient has received treatment and at the time of check out/payment, has been unable to pay. On a particular occasion, she came to her appointment and requested $6400+ treatment, which was completed. As the time of check out, she informed us that she was unable to pay the full amount. We agreed to work with her on payment; graciously, agreeing to wait 2 weeks until her next appointment for the balance to be paid. As it turned out, patient took over four months without any additional fees to pay the balance of over $4K. This is only one example of similar situations where patient requested and received treatments, knowing she was unable to pay for these services.

The patient states she became unemployed summer of 2023 and is unable to pay.  Prior to her last appointment, she received a written and verbal estimate of monies due. She came to appointment, received services and walked out without making any attempt to pay.

When contacted for payment, patient stated she could not pay, but would make good at the next appointment. Our Office Manager refused to book her any more appointments without reconciling the account. Owners contacted claimant via telephone to work out an amiable solution; however,  patient threatened to turn us into the BBB and other entities if we did not continue to treat her despite her outstanding invoices.

I am rejecting this response because:

Bespoke is lying about every aspect and that is why I have filed complaints with the other entities.  These people are crooks and created these lies because I told them I would be filing a complaint with my Care Credit card as they had been charging me a 10-12% fee for over a year that I was not informed of and they could not produce evidence of any agreement to that fee.  They are now trying to intimidate and extort money from me to cover my dispute of their fraudulent actions.  This business is unethical with fraudulent business practices.  Its unbelievable the manufactured documents they have created and the lies they have told to defraud me.
