      Just days before I was to pick up the kitten after waiting for 2 months leaving a $1000 deposit she states she changed her mind and is keeping the kitten . Money was refunded but a bit difficult to hear she decided to keep the kitten for future monetary gain

      On October 25, 2021, I contacted AcirreKatz to find another Sphynx Cat as a companion for the one I had. I purchased a cat from this breeder the year before and didnt figure Id have a problem. My husband and I drove approximately 3.5 hours to Texas on Saturday, November 20th to pick up the kitten. When the breeder handed us the cat, her face had some stuff on it. On the way home, the cat sneezed and coughed and appeared to have some stuff coming from her nose. You could tell she wasnt feeling well, she kept her head bowed and was extremely congested and lethargic. I took her to the Vets and was told she had a terrible infection. She already had it, she didnt get sick overnight!! She was running a fever, lots of congestion and she didnt want to eat. I didnt think shed survive the night! They prescribed a course of Antibiotics and talked about hospitalizing her overnight due to her breathing issues. My Insurance for her had a waiting period and I wasnt able to use the policy provided by the breeder because I didnt call them within 24-hours of getting the cat. I would have called the ***************** had the breeder advised me about that. Basically, the Breeder sold us a very sick kitten. Ive sent her messages regarding the bills which she needs to pay since she had no problem giving us this cat who was so poorly! The only thing she offered was for us to drive the cat back to her 3.5 to 4-hours! Why would we do that? The cat could barely breathe and was too sick to travel again!! Idiot suggestion!! She also offered to meet us 2-hours from where she was, again, very sick kitty. This is the most irresponsible breeder, who was dishonest enough to cheat me by selling a sick animal! The current Vet bills total $960.00. I sent this to her without a response. I expect payment, no excuses for these bills. I dont want excuses or freaking sob stories! People expect to pay bills for sick animals theyve had for a time, not this mess!

      11/22/21 -3 days later-


      Hello, just want to let you know that ***** is sick.  I had to take her to the Vet yesterday because she was having a lot of trouble breathing.  She has an upper respiratory infection and was running a fever.  Shes on some antibiotics now and were keeping an eye on her.  Her nose was runny with some nasty green stuff when we got her home, plus shes terribly congested with a stuffy nose.  Definitely concerning since she was sick Saturday and because ****** is in the house.


      Breeder:
      Oh my gosh what did they put her on she, she had been fine!  I didnt notice any major changes in her Saturday morning that wouldve made me think she was sick or I wouldve notified you immediately. Im so sorry youre going through this. If you want to bring her back and let me take care of her Im more than happy to do so the last thing I wanna do is her be sick.


      Youll still just wanna keep them separated if you dont want to bring her back make sure she completes her round of antibiotics. You may steam her in the bathroom with a hot shower going. 


      If you have a humidifier You can run that in the room that shes in


      Literally the message I got a little bit ago from the gal who took her brother the same day. I am so sorry I feel horrible now. Im more than happy to take her back and take care of her
      (Sent her Picture of iMessage was sent to her about the brother to her kitten that went home and how hes perfectly fine and happy and checked out by the purchasers vet)

      Im not able to get back there, I had to work around my Husbands schedule for driving.  They put her on Clavamox 0.5 every 12-hours.  She sounds a little better today, Im just keeping her face and nose clean.  Shes very sweet but, you can tell she doesnt feel well.

      Aug! Im so sorry I feel horrible she is the sweetest thing. 
      Just make sure shes continuing to eat well. If she isnt significantly better by tomorrow see about getting her to the vet on Wednesday to change up anabiotics and maybe put on something a little stronger like doxycycline.  Clavamox Is a good safe medication first line drug, but not always the strongest when it comes to a respiratory infections.

      Im at the *************** with *****.  Shes stopped eating for me this morning and her nose is still stuffy.  They x-rayed her again and her lungs are still clear but, shes still struggling.  They want to hospitalize her because shes so tiny.  Ive only had her 3-days and shes just so sickly!  We are monitoring her but if she doesnt turn around, you will need to take her back.  I did not agree to purchase an Ill kitty and she has been Ill for a bit.  Ill keep you posted but, we are very upset.  We didnt have this problem with Goshen.

      I just got off the phone with the ***************** I have for *****.  Unfortunately, her Insurance policy will not be in force until the 1st of the year.  Had I known that I needed to contact Trupanion within 24-hours of bringing her home for coverage, I could have been reimbursed for the money paid at the Vet for her bills.  Thats neither here nor there at this point, the fact is, whether you choose to acknowledge it or not, ***** was sick when you gave her to us.  The green stuff stuck to her face was mucus from the infection she had.  How does a breeder sell a sick pet?  I checked you out before purchasing Goshen and found a complaint against your Cattery on the Better Business Bureau website, but decided to give you the benefit of the doubt.  After Goshen, I figured getting another Cat from you would be ok.  Something kept bugging me though because of the way you or, whoever it was, responded when I asked about bringing her home.  Shes on the mend and we will keep her BUT, this isnt over.  I havent decided how Im going to address this but, where I come from, this is not how people do business and quite frankly, youve miss represented yourself and come across to me as quite dishonest at this point. Very ******, angry doesnt cover it because this baby didnt have to suffer because you wanted to make a buck!

      The fact that you have another cat from me and everything was fine and the fact that I was willing to drive all the way up there and pick her up and take care of her when you brought to my attention something was wrong 3 days after you got her should speak fathoms. As far as insurance is concerned when I handed over her and her bag and I mentioned that it need to be registered immediately as well as her microchip.
      I dont know what exactly you mean by Ive been dishonest and misrepresent myself I have offered advice I have offered to come get her so I could  take care of her when you said something was wrong even though You said nothing about anything being wrong when you got her. You declined all my efforts I dont know how any of that is dishonest or misrepresenting or me just trying to make a buck. Good day and goodbye.

      Here are two of the Vet bills I have paid for *****.  This includes the $101 I paid yesterday for her visit to Banfield for her follow up.  She has another appointment next Wednesday but, Im going to go ahead and give you these.                        


      With the visit from yesterday, that brings this total to $904.61 for treatment of a very sick kitty.  


      She was doing so poorly that we werent sure she was going to make it.  She was sick when you gave her to us period, say what you want!  I believe you or whoever had her, knew she was sick as well.  Dont know who had her but she was not well taken care of!


      In addition to the Respiratory infection, she also has an ear infection, hence all the nasty black goop she had when you gave her to me.  Goshen unfortunately, became ill as well and had to be seen! 


      The difference in Goshens appearance and health and *****s when you gave her to us is so unbelievably different, I still cant believe it!  Just terrible!  How could you or anyone allow a cat to suffer like she did?  SHAME ON YOU!!!


      I expect reimbursement of the Vet bills via my PayPal account no later than Monday.  Should you choose not to reimburse me, I will take the actions necessary to get my money back.  I dont make threats, Im just stating the facts and giving you the opportunity to take care of this.  You wont be able to tell anyone that I didnt give you an opportunity to rectify the situation. 


      Additionally, the Insurance wouldnt pay for it because I had to contact them within 24-hours of taking her to activate the policy - you left that information out when you gave her to me.  Of course, I wouldnt have needed the Insurance if she werent sick as a Dog anyway!


      She was coughing and sneezing on the ride home, with the green snot stuck to her face - that too was on her face when you handed her to us.  We assumed it was dirt, WRONG!!!  But again, she was fine when you gave her to us?  Ok


      Telling me to drive a terribly sick kitten another 2 or 4 hours back to you was not a way to rectify the situation.  The facts are, you as a responsible, ethical breeder sold us a very sick kitten.  She should have never been sold until you were sure she was completely fit 
      and well before you gave her to us, thats YOUR responsibility as the breeder.  


      I will be sending a copy of the via email as well so you cannot say you never received it.

      This is -------- -------- I am the person who um purchased um ***** from you um Im calling to let you know that I have just left the pet hospital for the third time um in less than two weeks ***** in addition to being sick when you sent her to my house and when I came and picked her up she also has umm an ear infection um her ears are full of  wax she got an ear infection now  and of course now all because she was in the household with Goshen now Goshen is now sick I am completely absolutely angry there is no way in the world you as a breeder did not know that this cat was sick when you gave her to me the cat was sick when she left I dont know whether you had her I dont know who the h*** had this cat all I know is the cat was sick when you gave here to me shes still sick and now the cat I already had in my household is sick I dont know what kind of business you run  or what you were thinking when you decided sell me another cat that was ill I want you to know as I told you in a text message that this is not over I will be recouping funds I am going to get back the money I have paid in hospital fees in vet fees from you while I understand that this is a special breed and there are times where you will need to your cat to the vet because they are ill it should not be because I purchased a new cat and the cat that I get and bring into home is sick and then make my cat I already have in my house sick iright  I plain to you my situation in terms of driving not that I had to I dont know who the f*** you think you are I had neck surgery so my husband was my driver so I did not have way to drive and  was not going to drive fours out of my way to return a cat to you that you should not let go in the first place I can not explain how f****** sick I am but you know what you are going to realize real quick you ****** with the wrong one you will be hearing from me very soon trust me when I tell you if you would like to return this phone call and discuss this futher you have my phone number but just in case you dont its -------------------- again you and other people will be hearing from me very soon thank you and have a blessed day


      The voicemail  15 days after taking the kitten  was her talking very loudly, harshly and screaming much of the time. I feel very threatened by the voicemail she left and I fear for my safety as she seems out of control and disregards any rational discussion only hearing or remember what she wants  to. 


      I also did not respond to her last text message as she disregarded all my efforts to help and disregard the fact I was going to drive and pick up the kitten it was brought to my attention that she was very ill, she refused to let me pick up the kitten and care for her. She disregarded The contract that she signed as well as disregarded the things I was telling her when she picked up Kitten in the first place in regards to the health insurance.  She seems very unstable. 

      As you can see in my text messages I was VERY concerned I tried to rectify the situation she declined and refused my efforts. In the contract it states I do not pay vet bills and also states if theres a problem that needs to be brought to my attention immediately and she did not bring anything to my attention day she picked up the kitten. I did not see anything out of the ordinary Kitten the morning they took the kitten. The kittens siblings also left and they have been doing just fine. I have suffered much anxiety over this situation due to the clients  behavior  and  I have been very worried about the kitten  since she refused to left me help and ignores the fact I offered to come all the way to her house to get the kitten.


      Please review the attached contract which clearly lays out what she agreed to and hasn't done, screen shots of text messages and Ill be happy to forward the voicemail to anyone who like to listen to it.


      She was informed to active the the 30 day premium free pet insurance immediately when she picked up the kitten as a courtesy  I started sending that home even though buyers are suppose to get there own that is active day of pick per the contract  she signed. Also I am to be informed immediately per contract when there is a issue which she didn't do. She also agreed per contract that she is responsible for all vet bills after kitten is in her possession.

      As indicated, the cat was too sick to travel and AGAIN, had the Breeder not sold a cat that was sick in the first place, none of this would even be necessary.  You can post text messages, voicemails and pictures if you want however AGAIN, you sold a sick cat. You sell sick animals, period, end of story.  I will continue to pursue additional avenues to get my money back so rest assured, this is by no means over.  I want potential Buyers to know what theyre getting when they do business with you, sick animals.  This complaint will remain and, it will definitely make an individual question whether they want do do business with you or not.  

      While youre posting texts, did you talk about the one where you alleged that all the kittens were at the Vet lethargic and not eating because of the overspray of pesticides because you left a window open?  Perhaps they were at the Vet because they were all sick with this Respiratory mess my cat had!  Timing is everything and thats suspicious

      No, I dont accept the response you cant simply post a few text messages and think that shows you were responsible!  Remember, YOU SOLD A SICK animal.  This isnt over by any means.  When you have paid the ****** I have paid in Vet bills, Ill go on about my business.
