  GP R&R my home roof in May 2019. I developed a leak in the roof last year and tried to repair it myself, but was unsuccessful. The contract with GP provided a 5 year workmanship warranty. I first contacted them on 5/2/2024; then spoke with GP receptionist ********* on 5/3 and 5/6 2024. She stated a warranty specialist would contact me, but no one did. Called again on 5/8/2024, but no answer. Called again on 5/21/2024 and 6/7/2024, and spoke to new receptioist *******. She asked me to send a text, whioch I did on 6/7/2024, and stated a warranty specialist would contact me, but no one did. To date, I still have been unable to contact GP or have anyone from that firm contact me. I had thought GP was a reliable roofing contractor, but they appear to be no different than most others that once they have your money, you don't hear from them or get any response, nor have they honored their "implied" warranty. I do not recommend them, nor will I ever use them again. The 1 start rating is being very generous.

  We had them replace our roof two years ago. Noticed a leak in our ceiling. They blamed a nail coming from under the roof as the cause, even though it's well away from the leak. There's no attic access under the roof in the affected room. Their warranty means nothing.

  Horrible company. Sold me a "high end" roof we paid extra for that is is falling apart within the first 2 years. Installed gutters that were not done properly. Had two leaks due to installation mistakes. Had an employee steel money and will not return phone calls. DO NOT USE THIS ROOFING COMPANY. Run far away.

  Outstanding performance, above and beyond agreement. Long version: On June 30, 2022 we contracted with GP Construction to replace our roof and stain our fence, insurance adjuster approved following a hailstorm. The Project Manager kept all the commitments including replacing gutters (slightly more than original), protecting skylights and installing four new solar powered heat vents (one replaced a burned out electric powered vent). Installation was on time, 100% complete and ten months, numerous storms later, no leaks. I requested that the fence stain be postponed until fall due to significant foliage cover including edibles. The ** requested that I sign off on 'all work complete' and the would come back in the fall and honor the fence stain commitment. ** left, Area Manager confirmed they would come back. Called a couple times in the fall, Area Manager never called back. Learned later that he also left. Due to cold temperatures, we dropped the work over the winter. Called GP Construction in April 2023, outlined the situation, the Region Manager said "our records show we paid the subcontractor to stain last fall". I informed him that the work was not done and offered to send pictures. He agreed, reviewed the pictures and said 'clearly not done, I'll get in touch with the subcontractor'. Ten days later, he confirmed the subcontractor would complete the work. They did a masterful job of completing the power-washing and staining, including an additional overlooked 8 foot stub fence on the other side of the house.Overall, through management changes, modest scope changes, GP Construction maintained excellent dialog, careful review and professionalism in completing the complex project on budget, and respecting our requested delays.5 Star, A-1 Service, A-1 Quality. Will absolutely use them again, next storm.

  This company is a scam, they tried to cut corners every possible way and get your check. ********************* is on-site manager. This company did my roof in 2014 and my roof leaked after couple of years in my porch and master bedroom. Porch leak was water gushing leak they came and fixed that. But bedroom is surface-tension water seep leak due to bad flashing(water deflector). This company's workmanship is very poor, not responsible, very unreliable and poor communication. Don't hand them any form of payment until all the work agreed upon is 100% complete and satisfactory. When contract was signed in 2014 and in 2022 we agreed to remove all old underlay material and repair any damages to roof before installing new roof. I was home and noticed that they didn't remove old underlay material again(did same in 2014), I insisted on removing both layers(original and the one from 2014 which caused the roof leak) and that is when I found the extent of damage caused by their previous install on our bedroom roof. In the contract, up to 8 boards of roof damage replacement is included with the install. But they didn't have any replacement boards on hand since they are not planing to remove old underlay which doesn't reveal the damage. I have to halt install, until new boards were brought in to fix the damage. They don't have necessary material on hand for decent roof install. I have to halt work for lack of ice and water valley material as well. Unless you are ready to check on them every step of the install, avoid this company which lacks integrity and honesty to avoid stress, suffering and frustration. They also did a very bad job on my solar vents install, done with a offset and uncut shingle from bottom which blocks 3/4 vent capacity. They just installed roof and nothing else, no gutters and matching paint, no fence stain, no garage door or screens, which were agreed in the contract and now asking me to find another contractor to finish job. They already cashed my check for $10000.
