1 starWe went into purchase a car that was advertised online for a certain price. After we test drove the vehicle and were interested in purchasing it our salesman, ********* ******, said hey I got to shoot strait with yall the online price is wholesale and we have a reconditioning fee for all our vehicles. I told him absolutely not and how that is literally bait and switch and illegal. He went on to defend it by saying its what all the dealerships do and that they are the cheapest. He let us drive the hour there just to change the sales price when it can time to pull the trigger. So freaking dirty. And we have purchased form 5 different dealerships in the past 2 years and not one of those dealerships did that so shout out to Toyota of ******, Plano Porsche, Lewisville Autoplex, Lone ************* and ***** ******* ******* for your honest and fair sales tactics. Avoid this place guys, the price is only to allure you in the door.Review fromZdravko T

1 starAbsolutely the worst experience trying to buy a car from dealer! Bait and switch, advertising cars for one price just to get you to come in and they raise the price several thousand dollars trying to convince you that you the customer are wrong and they are right.Worked with ******* which was nothing but argumentative, pushy and overall rude. Had the audacity to call me the next morning to argue some more. At one point his manager ***** ******* came out and started talking to us like we were a bunch of school kids and started raising his voice. Such unprofessional behavior i have not seen anywhere, felt really disrespected.i can't understand how people can support shady businesses like this.Went to another dealer the next day and had a much better experience AND price than toyota of ************************* yourself a favor and look elsewhere for a car!I would never come back here to try and purchase anything from these crooks. I will make sure to let relatives and friends about my experience hereReview fromVirginia F

1 starFalse advertising, unethical and deceptive sales practices. Toyota of Grapevine listed a vehicle online at one price and after test driving and attempting to buy the vehicle the price had increased by $2500. The salesman explained the price increase was due to "maintenance costs". I asked to see the maintenance report which show an oil change and new wiper blades that clearly did not total $2500. I offered to buy the car at the advertised price from their website and ******** and was refused. It's a clear case of false advertising. The sales manager said the "Maintenance fees" are listed in the disclosure but they are not. It also increased the amount of sales tax due given the maintenance fees are added to the price of the car and not listed with the document fees, etc.Review fromCasey W

1 starDeceptive Practices and ********************* at ********************** I have experienced nothing but frustration with Toyota, specifically the Grapevine dealership and Toyota Corporate. Despite regular maintenance, my 2017 ****** has been subjected to excessive charges for simple repairs. The dealership proceeded with unauthorized work and overcharged significantly. Attempts to resolve the issue with Toyota Corporate were met with indifference, with no escalation or serious consideration of my complaints. Their focus is clearly on maximizing profits rather than customer care. I will never buy another ********************** and recommend others avoid their service centers. Toyotas treatment of customers is unacceptable.Review fromPat B

1 starHad appt to get oil change. They also found a nail in my right rear tire. I decided to get the back to two replaced. I waited four hours . There was no explanation for waiting. They gave me a number to call and it was a general voice number to the dealership. No avail. Went home and had to inflate the back tire three times because it was low. That is the one that was supposed to be replaced. Went back next day had to air tire again. Talked to manager in service and he could have cared less. The department replaced the two front tires of which were good and put a terrible tire in back that was about to blow. No explanation but said they did replace the front after I told them it was the back that was bad. No rental car he said or I would have to pay for one. It would take another three hours to change the correct tire. He could have cared less and did not try to compensate or offer any reply for me. I then took my care to Discount and it was replaced in one hour. This placehas the worse service and I will never go back to them.Review fromCarlos R

1 starThey violated Texas senate bill 1464!!! Went in looking to purchase a vehicle found online. Had been pre-approved through a third party and planned on going in, looking at the vehicle and if it checked out getting the funds wired or a check written to the dealer. They refused to sell the vehicle stating it was against company policy to take a wire transfer or personal or certified check and kept trying to force me to fill out a credit application and use their financing. Buying a car is already difficult and dreading enough, I dont need a dealer violating a state bill and making my experience that much worse!! Texas senate bill ************************************************************************* third party financing for the purchase of a vehicle, passed in 2023.Review fromCole K

1 starSTAY AWAY. If I could give zero stars then I would. ********************* is a sales rep that has no morals and will not honor his word. I live out of state but found a vehicle online and started chatting with *****. We agreed on a small discount. I have a relative that lives close and he went to drive the vehicle. All was good, it was just missing floor mats. I email and say if he can include floor mats we got a deal. ***** agrees and send me off to another rep to work out sending a deposit and ironing out details. The second rep tells me that we have to either accept the discount OR get the floor mats. I send over the screen shot of the conversation with ***** and they come back to me with its one or the other. I am upset and email ******************* with screen shots of him agreeing to both and all he says is the mats have to be at your cost. That is the last contact ***** and I had, he stopped replying and stopped answering my calls. After reaching out to another manager I found out that he sold the car to someone else that same day. This wasted a few days of my time, my relative drove 45 min each way for a test drive. ***** is a sleezy person and should not be trusted. Go to a dealership with morals and avoid this one at all costs. If you read other reviews, I am not alone in how I was treated, learn from my mistake.Review fromRoxan E

Texas Toyota listed a vehicle I was interested in online at one price and when I went to the dealership and attempted to buy the vehicle the price had increased by $6K. The manager explained the price increase was due to "shop costs" that were necessary to bring the vehicle up to the dealership's specifications. I declined to purchase. Next day, I received an email to share my dealership experience and did so. I was contacted by a customer service employee to go over my experience. I explained the incident and she was apologetic and said she would like to use my experience as a teachable scenario if I agreed. She further asked what else she could do to resolve my unhappiness with my experience. I told her, I would like the dealership to sell me another car exactly like the one I attempted to purchase at the online price. She noted the desired info and explained it might be some time to find a car that would sell at the exact online listed price because of "shop costs". After further research into advertising laws, specifically Texas ******* and seeing multiple bad reviews on this dealership I chose rather than trying to have the dealership correct their mistake for me, to file this BBB complaint and one with the Texas DMV.Texas Toyota of Grapevine

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. After reviewing our records, we see that the online price (plus Tax, Title, License)was ultimately offered to you, but the vehicle of interest had already sold by the time you reached back out to accept. Our team has been actively working with you to resolve your experience, but understand if you choose, as stated,to not allow us to make your experience right. If you have any additional questions, or find the right vehicle in our inventory that fits your needs you can purchase it at the online price (plus Tax, Title, and License) as discussed, please do not hesitate to reach out.Review fromPaul K

1 starBE WARNED!!! Worst car dealership ever!!. Elderly in laws (80's) went to this location in April 2023. Both walk slowly, at least one required ******, as well as having cognitive issues, such as dementia and other numerous health conditions. If it was just that they went in there to trade in for a truck, that would be fine. The salesperson, ****, apparently knew what he saw coming in the door (target rich environment). He showed them the most expensive truck on the lot (2023 Tundra Hybrid Capstone). Sales price was 83K. They misled them into trading their Hylander. It's bad enough that they were talked into this vehicle, making them believe they were buying it. Instead they were actually signing a 3 year lease. This wasn't discovered until I read the paperwork 2 days later, when I found it. I immediately contacted the dealership. They provided no concessions to resolve this. The ** seemed proud of what they did, essentially s******* my family out of 35K, before even walking out the door with the keys. It's clear that the saleman's family had a nice vacation last summer. It's clear that as long as you have a drivers license and credit, these jokers will sell you a car. This was an ongoing battle for the next 9 months. We obtained POA's for them, since they were elderly and were to the point of not being able to take care of themselves. I filed a complaint with Toyota Corporate, and even they were unable to get a response from Toyota Grapevine. My father in law passed away in January, enhancing the issue with this truck. No response from the dealership forced me to look for other avenues to get rid of this truck. Freedom Toyota (*****) actually took the vehicle off our hands, only giving us 5K back, and that took some haggling, since they didn't even have a dog in the fight . These sales people have no backbone, morals or ethics and could care less about the consumer. ZERO STARS IS THE ONLY WORTHY RATING!!! Unfortunately I had to give 1.Review fromMario P
