    Date of the Transaction- 1/12/2021 The amount of money paid from insurance- $14,342.65 Business Committed and dispute- This was my first experience working with a contractor and an insurance claim. There was a lot of confusion and everything was moving way to fast and was not explained to me I feel like it should have been. The contractor told me they would take care of everything and work with the insurance company and I just had to sign the check over and pay my deductible to them. I signed the contract with Buford Contractors trusting they were going to fix everything insurance pointed out. They did not. They sent an invoice to my insurance stating that all work has been complete which is not true. When I went to put a new claim this year they called out stuff that I didnt know was on the last claim and proved it was not complete and I a can't make a claim on these items. Company resolving- I have reached out to the company multiple times to try and resolve this and the first time the owner ******************************* came out and stated that they would take care of a couple items or reimburse me what insurance paid out. The other items they stated was my responsibility and that they didn't do the work to keep my deductible down which I did not know about or had all the information. After speaking to the owner again he informed me that they will not do any of the work and will not reimburse the charges.The dispute is primarily the fence that did not get fixed and was supposed to and they even wrote on their receipt that they completed it and turned into the insurance company. The other is the chimney flashing and shroud. The insurance company has also called out the metal flashing as it looks to not have been completed as well.In order to resolve this I would like my money back that my insurance had paid out for these items. I have a breakdown of what insurance paid out and the contract I signed with Buford and the receipt Buford sent to my insurance.

    Couldn’t have asked for a more professional, valuable, or timely company to install gutters on our new house. Actual installation time only took 30 minutes at max. They work like a charm and look fantastic!
