I paid around $20,000 to the school in order to get out of a $24,000 loan that was taken out and paid to the school by a student loan company. My payment to the school occurred in April of this Year and the school claimed the balance on my student loan would be adjusted by the end of that month. It is now August and it still has not been adjusted. The school insists that it is taken care of but the loan company claims they have not received the money in order to adjust my loan balance. It is hard to speak with the person in charge of admin and I believe something fraudulent may be going on at this school.

    Mr. Ramirez,

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. I understand your concern and would like to assure you that the refund process on our side has been fully completed. We processed your payment in April, and the necessary documentation and approvals have been submitted to the student loan company to adjust your loan balance.

I have attached the approval documentation for your reference, which confirms that everything has been handled appropriately on our end. While I understand your frustration with the delay, it appears the adjustment may be pending further action on the loan company's part. I recommend reaching out to them with the attached document to expedite the process.

We remain committed to resolving this for you and are available if you need further assistance. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to support you in communicating with the loan company.
    Kind regards,

    Bianca Kanaanian

I am rejecting this response because: I am not satisfied and would like to keep this open until I see the amount I paid, applied to the Loan.  The amount I paid to the Training Center in April was the full amount. After 6 months $0 has been applied.  As of yesterday the Loan Company verified that nothing was received on my behalf since April.  I was also informed by the Training Center that the payment was rejected in April and nothing was resubmitted.  I would like to know, since then has it been resubmitted?

    Regards,

    Miguel Ramirez

*** very disappointed and time wasted, after fighting cancer and still dealing with health issues I stop by this school and had my credit ran 3 times until the owner got a hit and told me I could start immediately. I informed her what was going on in my life and told her that I could not make a payment right away and was told long as I pay 130 I would be able to graduate. After taking the course I had three weeks left in the course and mind you the loan that was taken out I filled out deferment forms to have the loan pushed out after I finish because I only have a job enough to cover my insulin and cancer meds. This week the owner called me in the office and told me that I would need to bring her 300 dollars by friday are I would have to leave and have the remaining of what I was behind paid by January 24 of finish date. I reach out to launch servicing loans who informed me that the school had already been paid 16k for me to attend school and the late fees and interest was put on my credit and to start making payments after I finish. I also ask the loan company did I suppose to pay the school and they informed me to pay them not the school. So I was kicked out of school 3 weeks after attending almost everyday with perfect grades and hard work all while fighting health issues and I am very upset and have started to take legal action against because a loan was taking out in my name to pay for my education and I wasnt allowed to finish. No college I have every been to and I had to pay the school the monthly payments after the loan company have pay for my education in full. After speaking with the loan company owner he told me that the school will have to pay them the funds back in full if I wasnt able to finish my education because I had already spoke with them about my health issues and was kicked out. At this point the loan company have been severed Cease and Desist motions by my attorney to remove all financial agreements and the school will have to pay them back

When ******** enrolled in our 22-week Comprehensive Clinical Medical Assistant Program in Aug 2023, he communicated a temporary financial difficulty due to having just secured a job.  There was no mention of any sort of illness, specifically cancer.  ******** did not pay the application fee, enrolled, and signed a promissory note for a student loan on his own volition to fund his allied health education.  In a gesture of goodwill, we arranged to extend the first payment due date on the note he signed by 30 days, allowing him the necessary time to stabilize his financial situation.  ********'s education loan was funded, and then serviced by ****************.  However, if the loan were to default, The Training Center must purchase it back.  It's critical that, because there is no in-school or grace ****** for these loans like there is for Title IV aid, our students must remain in good standing and make the minimum monthly payments required on their repayment obligations until they graduate.

Throughout his ****** of attendance, ******** consistently informed his fellow classmates of earning a substantial income without mentioning illness, yet he never made a student loan payment.  After five months non-payment and his name appearing on delinquency/default reports provided by ****************, on or about Dec 5th we requested that he fulfill his financial obligations by making a $300 payment to Launch through us by the end of the week, along with a commitment to catch on his overdue payments before graduation.  ******** acknowledged his responsibility and understood but chose otherwise - informing us of his decision to leave the program without making payment, in essence - a free education funded with a willfully uncollectable debt from the beginning.

Our final communication with ******** on or about Dec 5th, encouraged him to address his situation and return to complete his training once he had sorted out his affairs.  However, the following day, we learned that he'd launched a barrage of complaints via various platforms, alleging an investigation into the Training Center of Central Texas.
We wish to emphasize that our primary objective is to be a champion for our students on their educational journey and our efforts are dedicated to fostering a supportive and positive learning environment.  We are always flexible in assisting students facing challenges, but eventually, there comes a time for student responsibility and it is disappointing to learn that ******** failed to realize the accommodation and flexibility we gave him for FIVE months.

The Training Center of Central Texas remains committed to ******** completing his education where he left off once he sorts out his affairs and resolves his student loan delinquency.  Operating with the highest level of integrity is vital to our institution as students entrust us to provide them a best-in-class education that has made us voted the best trade school & training center in the region for the last four years in a row.  I assure you we don't take these issues lightly.

Thank you in advance for affording The Training Center of Central Texas the opportunity to share our side of the story.  Should you have any questions or concerns, please let me know.

    Respectfully,

The Training Center of Central Texas

two days ago I paid and registered for a BLS in person class, a class I need to take for work as soon as possible. They only offer this class the first saturday of every month to what I would need to wait 3 weeks to be able to take this class. After that I called around to other businesses to see if I could find a sooner class since this is time sensitive for me, I found a place for me to take the class this same weekend (3 weeks before this business offering) so I called back to this business to request a refund or the possibility to schedule a sooner class to what they denied the refund and said they didn't have any other classes available sooner. I don't think refusing to refund is even legal, specially when the class is still 3 weeks away.
