La Hacienda Boot Company does not stand by their word. On 11/25/2022 I visited the store to order a pair of custom boots. I wear size 15 or 16 which is near impossible to find ready made. I explained that I had surgery on my right foot and required special sizing of my boots. I ordered a pair of boots in size 15EE for my left foot and 15EEE for my right foot. When the boots arrived I complained that the boots did not fit properly. The left boot was too roomy in the area over the top of my foot and the right boot was very tight over the top of my foot. The length was good. It appeared to me that the sizes were reversed with the 15EEE on the left and 15EE on the right. I was advised to take them home and wear them in the house to see if they would wear in. She assured me that La Hacienda would make the boots right if not satisfied. I wore them but experinced pain in my right foot caused by the tightness of the boot. I returned the boots to the store on 01/03/2023 and complained again. They suggested stretching the right foot to fit and ignored the complaint of the left foot being too loose. When returned the right foot was now as loose as the left. I am a volunteer for the Houston rodeo and the rodeo was fast approaching and I wanted these boots for the Rodeo. I was told to go ahead and wear them and if they did not break in properly, they would make them right. I wore the boots for 4 12-hour shifts but the boots were very uncomfortable. I returned the boots 05/23/2023 and asked for my money $1250 back. I was referred me to the owner because the boots had been worn. The owner only suggested I buy insoles for the boots or they would re-last the boots at the additional cost of $250. This was unsatisfactory, because I had ordered "custom boots" and was told on three different occasions they would stand by their product. The owner suggested the sales lady was probably not there any longer because she had promised to make the boots right.
