      I submitted my DOCUMENTS to their WEBSITE on 03.04.25. And on 03.05.25, I provided the AUTHORIZATION LETTER that they asked me to sign and scan so they can CONTACT my UNIVERSITY on my behalf.I CHOSE their 5 **** DAYS option because I need my CREDENTIALS the soonest, and it is now MARCH 17, 2025 and I STILL DONT HAVE MY EVAL RESULT.I KEPT FOLLOWING-UP via EMAILS AND CALLS, but THEY NEVER ANSWER THEIR PHONE CALLS (they said its because of the HIGH VOLUMES of the calls they receive everyday, but based on the reviews i saw in ******* SPANTRAN DOESNT REALLY ANSWER THEIR PHONES. And their REPLY TIME on my emails, IT IS SOOO RIDICULOUS.I AM VERY STRESSED and VERY DECEIVED BECAUSE SPANTRAN IS A LIER. They TOLD ME 4 TIMES that they ARE STILL WAITING TO RECEIVE CONFIRMATION from my UNIVERSITY (from the ***********.) HOW CAN YOU POSSIBLY WAIT FOR A RESPONSE FROM SOMEONE that YOU NEVER REACHED OUT TO?I emailed my UNIVERSITY in the ***********, and they TOLD ME (in 2 separate emails) that neither of these companies have REACHED OUT TO THEM (SPANTRAN, THE EVALUATION COMPANY, or *** INFORM PRIVATE) about my CREDENTIALS I GAVE these companies EVERYTHING THEY ASKED from me to make my EVALUATION FAST but it has been ALMOST 2 WEEKS, and still got nothing from them.SPANTRAN have been doing this business since 1982, and YET they are asking PEOPLE to PAY for something that PEOPLE will NOT GET. For OVER 40 YRS, SPANTRAN still dont know how LONG WILL IT TAKE for an EVAL to be DONE for a CERTAIN COUNTRY take for EXAMPLE, the ***********? they still dont know the ESTIMATED *** for doing an EVAL on a UNIVERSITY from the ***********? and YET, they made me pay for that 5 **** DAY OPTION.And what will they say? That they REFUNDED $60 to my acct, which I have never seen yet. AND I DON'T THINK THAT THAT $60 is enough for ALL THE STRESS and DECEIT they have given me.

      The original date of the transaction was September 11, 2024, for $330 + $65 in translation service. Unfortunately, I left out some documents required for a complete evaluation (which they noticed), but instead of telling me to please send in the remaining documents, they processed my transcripts as is and left out a third of my credits. I had to pay a second time on September 30, 2024, to have my remaining courses evaluated for $100 + $195 translation service. In total, I have spent $690 to have a transcript evaluated and translated. That price included an "expedited service". Due to my original mistake of not mailing all forms, they have my documents under two different accounts and will not combine them for a university to properly evaluate them unless I start over and do the process all over again. I have tried to contact them for several days now, but they put me on hold for hours. My University has a cutoff date for transcripts to be processed and due to the unresponsiveness of this evaluation service, I may miss my deadline.

      I paid SpanTran $295 back on 3/19/2024 for a credential evaluation service. They told me they would have it ready in 10 business days. At the end of the 10 business days, I did not hear back from them, and I went to their office for an update. They have a phone number listed but no one ever answers. In the office, they told me they attempted to reach out to my university, but they did not hear back, and they will reach out again. For 4 weeks this was the case and the same excuse. I called my university in **********, and they said they had not heard from SpanTran. I told SpanTran this and I provided them with the correct phone numbers and email addresses they needed to contact in **********. They ignored this. After I insisted on getting the contact info they had been trying to reach my university, they gave it to me, and I realized in 2 minutes that those email addresses did not exist. I told SpanTran about this and again they ignored it. They asked me to reach out to my university and ask for documents on their behalf. In other words, I was going to do their work. They also told me they would give me a refund because I was doing all the work. I spent an extra $200 dollars in international calls and expedited documents "on behalf of SpanTran". After 2 months of back and forth, the documents were not ready, and I had a deadline that my new employer needed this document, so I paid another company to do the credential evaluation. The other company completed the evaluation in 5 business days. Without me spending any additional money or calling anyone back in **********. I told SpanTran I wanted a refund and they refused. They told me they had already started working on my document so they could not give me any refunds. This place lacks responsibility, accountability, and credibility.

      Date of transaction May 17, 2024 Amount $245.Application is for evaluation of foreign education credentials.Their website says turnaround of 10 business days is standard, but now a month later still there is no explanation from them.Issue is that they won't respond to emails nor pick up their phone. All I wanted to find out is what is status of my application. Their online status checker clearly says "Status of Evaluation : COMPLETED".Case Number ********* As part of the evaluation, I did complete the Cambridge Assessment authorization form on May 17, 2024, and that form clearly states "Third Party Verification.... for a fee of British Pound 26.10."so my question to SpanTran is what additional "verification" do they still to do a month later, even as Cambridge Assessment has apparently done the same. On May 29, 2024, SpanTran's online status checker was saying "Pending" since then it says "Completed".

      Requested a teacher course by course evaluation and verification on March 8, 2024 Case Number: ********* Received evaluation report on March 21, 2024. This was not the final report as there was an outstanding issue regarding verification of transcripts from one institution (***********************, *******, *****).SpanTran acknowledged receipt of verification attempt on my behalf on April ******. The email from SpanTran indicated clearly that it will take 2-3 business days to review the verification attempt. I contacted SpanTran about the reason for the delay in finalizing the evaluation process and the response I received was that they were doing additional research on the verification attempt received. This was on April 15, 2024.I contacted SpanTran again about the holdup (April 18, 2024) and got a response on April 19, 2024. The response indicated that "We have received verification from your school and are working on finalizing your evaluation"This is the last correspondence I have received and still after 48 hours (2 business days) i haven't received the final evaluation report. For 8 days now, the status checker indicates that verification for my institutions have been completed. So I don't know why I still haven't received the final evaluation report ****** request is very simple:1. How long will it take for the final report to be issued from SpanTran?2. What is the main issue holding up the process though the Status checker indicates otherwise?3. I have until April 26, 2024 to complete some important applications and I risk losing out. So what do I do now?!!

      I paid $150 for a degree equivalency service from SpanTran but I am NOT having a good experience.They dont reply to my emails and when I check the status of my request online it simply shows on hold but they have never contacted me to explain why my application is on hold. In addition to that, every time I call them I have to wait 30+ minutes on hold. And if after 30+ minutes their office closes oh well, bad luck, try again the next day To probe that I have 2 completed university degrees I submitted official certificate of correspondence documents. These are the most official documents you can get, and ones that come with built it authenticity check (you can go to the website of the ************************** ******************************************************************************************************* and confirm that this specific document is indeed authentic, and you can see every word of it so you can confirm it has not been altered in any way. Nevertheless they do not want to accept them. These documents are written in Spanish AND English but they are still asking me for a translation of the nice looking but impossible to validate diplomas that are only good to be framed. When I contacted a translator I have used in the past, who lives in the *** but is also originally from *****, he said this is a scam and no other company in the degree equivalency business requires an *** certified translation. Apparently SpanTran asks for this just so they can charge you for THEIR translation which apparently is also of subpar quality (worse than ****** Translate based on what my translator told me). But it doesnt matter because they are the only ones that are going to use ***** if this wasnt enough, because they put my application on hold repeatedly and don't contact me to let me know, I am go beyond my deadline before this is completed.

      Case number : ********* Ordered on : Sat Dec 02 Paid : 150$ I have ordered a course by course evaluation from SpanTran to join a United States' University , I was told in the first place that the time of the evaluation was going to be 10 business days, I ordered the evaluation so It could be sent to the university before the deadline of the application . But unfortunately , the service was delayed and exceeded the 10 days time (we are the Wed Dec 27 and I still didn't receive anything) , which could cause the rejection of my application to the University , this is my dream university and I cant afford such thing . This is my hole future. I have saved for months so I could afford this service , please continue my evaluation so it could be sent before the deadline.

      Hello, I had requested my documents to be verified and they said the exact time would be 2 days and I even paid the exact amount so that my documents would be verified and would be send back my university but still it has not reached and it has been more than 1 month . I guess my documents is not gonna get verified . I hope I receive my refund . thankyou

      The person applied with a special discounted application for ****** *********** ****** ********** specifically requires verification before considering an evaluation. This was indicated on the application. I will make an exception and send the evaluation to the student only, but unfortunately ****** will not accept it without verification. We are redoubling our efforts to get verification, but it can be difficult to have effective communication with institutions in ****** We haven't received any correspondence directly from this applicant, but will consider a partial refund if we receive a request.

      So many issues I’m not even sure we’re to begin.we contacted Spantran to interpret, and evaluate my wife’s college credentials They evaluated and accessed her to have 120 college credit hours ( bachelors degree) in criminal law but never called out her 120 completed credit hours as a bachelors degree When we tried calling both location. At the same time on several occasions my wife and I was on hold for over 90 minutes When we would contact by email trying to resolve our issues we could never seem to resolve. And continued to require more money I will never use this company again. Was a scam and major rip off

      Hello,

      Unfortunately, the complainant did not include the SpanTran case number or his wife's name. I believe I have found her case in our system by cross-referencing the address provided, but in my reply I will not include identifying information in case this is not the case. 

      Applicant applied on August 9th at 10:40pm EST for a Teacher Course Analysis with 5 business day rush ($400), verification ($60) and home delivery ($15). On the application, she requested a quote for translation service. Applicants can provide their own certified translation or ask for us to provide a quote for SpanTran's translation service. We provided a quote to translate the transcript submitted on August 10th ($130). Applicant paid on August 11th. The evaluation was completed on August 15th and emailed and mailed to the applicant. 

      The applicant to that date had not provided SpanTran with the titulo (diploma). As such, we thought she had not completed the degree and the evaluation reflected this. When she provided the titulo we quoted her for translation ($65) and an update evaluation fee ($50). The translation was paid for on 9/24 and the reopening fee was paid for on October 10th. It's been very hard to clearly communicate with this person because she has been sending many emails not on the same chain and having people call on her behalf. 

      We have updated the evaluation to reflect the degree equivalency and have reached back out to the institution in the foreign country to verify the authenticity of the diploma. Although SpanTran handled this case fairly and properly the entire time, we will refund the $50 reopening fee as a gesture of good will.

      Case #********* My education was completed in English. The evaluation came through from Spartran stating that it was in a language other than English hence the licensing board want me to take English proficiency exam. Spartran will answer your emails in no less than a weeks time. I've asked them to review and correct this error the same day they sent me the evaluation five days ago and I've yet to hear from them. Every week that I'm not licensed I loose thousands of dollars in wages. If you'd like to have communication on a timely manner with the credentials evaluation company that you hire look elsewhere.

      We are reviewing the client's concerns. We did initially put Spanish as the language of instruction because the study was completed in Puerto Rico. However, after a review of the documents, the university states that the language of instruction was Spanish and English and the textbook language was English.
