Floors ruined and walls, it's been going on almost 6 months now. Still no progress done to fix the damages that STANLEY STEEMERS caused on January 27th. We had a water mitigation company come out February 12th because water was in our sheetrock, and under our flooring, and mold was forming right where we eat, sleep, LIVE. Stanley Steemers' employee Melvin McDonald didn't follow any protocol that was supposed to be in place to protect our home. He set his machine that generated tons of heat and water on our laminate flooring that was NEW when we bought our home less than a year prior. We have been living with this for too long and Travelers insurance (stanley steemers insurance company) wants to fight with professional restoration companies instead of fixing the damages caused by Stanley Steemers. This is beyond ridiculous that we are going through this. It's $11,712.05 dollars in damage!Review from Diana A

We had Marvin come out to steam clean our kitchen tiles and grout on January 27th. While the tiles were being cleaned, he did not properly protect the laminate flooring neighboring the entrance to the kitchen resulting in our floors buckling. The laminate floors were not waterproof and I had told Marvin that those floors absorb water when wet. His excuse was that he “laid a towel down, so you can’t blame me” when he negligently pushed water mixed with cleaning solution towards the laminate flooring. We are beyond upset with his attitude about ruining our other floors and did not tell us how to contact the manager nor apologize. Three days later, our laminate flooring near the entrance has completely buckled from the water damage that was caused.

Unfortunately this customer review is accurate, the tech did overly wet the floor causing damage to her laminate floor. After assessing the damage we did turn it over to our insurance company. Also here at Stanley Steemer we take situations like these to ramp up training to prevent this from happing in the future.
