    Since June of 2017, the BBB of Houston & South Texas has received numerous disputes that exhibit the pattern below;

    It has been alleged by consumers that the sales and practices of the The Men's Wearhouse company are misleading and deceptive. All (or most) of these consumers have complaints stating employees are not adhering to the refund policy. They alleged that when they contact the company for a refund, request are denied not considering the 90 day cancellation policy. Allegedly, this company does not adhere to the contract and fails to refund consumers due to not being satisfied with the product. Several complaints state when ordering custom made suits, when attempting to wear the suits, the measurements are incorrect.

      My Husband and I both purchased the same items the same day. However, I went to return one, and asked the 20 coupon(20 off 100) be applied, and they did not. Also the prices were different 10 off the tie and 10 off the shirt. The total was 118 for one order and 80 for the other exact same items. They refunded the 80 one and I asked the 20 coupon be applied and the extra 20 10 off each item. So I was charged the 80 not the 118. They advised me to call corporate, and I did after a week they finally said they would adjust the 20 for the coupon, not match the price. Also, in store said if you call Corporate they will also send you a gift card for the inconvenience. They said no

      Our customer, *** ******* , has received further details of purchase pricing and did receive the requested adjustment of $20 and $10 for a total of $30 plus applicable taxes refunded.  We have also provided *** ******* with $50 store credit. We do consider this matter as resolved.

      Oder shirts online or store pick up They said the shirts were not available So They had to be shipped Went in to pickup pants I order before And the shirt were there Asked about the whole situation as to why It said you did have if you had They said they don’t know why And told me to call corporate number for help She said well it could be because store inventory was low…. And it takes up to ten day days Which is also different than what it said online So she tells me to buy the shirts at the store and return the others when I get them…. I tell her I can’t tie up Money like that … and there’s nothing she can do I have to wait

      Our customer , **** ****, was provided the information requested regarding her recent order number ********* from Men's Wearhouse. I have emailed **** **** on October 21, 2022 at 7:34 AM the information as well as **** **** has called us on October 20, 2022 at 12:42 PM and received a call back October 21, 2022 at 2:01 PM spoken with a supervisor during that call back.

      The package from the order ********* have arrived with FedEx tracking number ******************** and marked as delivered on Saturday ,10/22/2022 at 2:27 pm . The shirts that were ordered online to be delivered were not the same item skus as what our customer reviewed in-store and had wanted to be purchased online for in-store/same day pickup and as a result of the shirts not being in the local store's inventory, the ordered items were not available in the BOPIS or buy on-line, pick-up in-store option.

      When planning for my son's wedding in the Houston area that took place on 9/16/2022, we reserved all of the groomsmen and groom's tux at Men's Wearhouse using reservation #********* at the Baybrook location in Friendswood, Texas. In total, there were 10+ tuxes rented and reserved from various parts of the country. Each person went in and got fitted for their tuxes. We were very disappointed to find that at least 8 of the tuxes rented did not fit (some even after alterations!) and many people had to wear their tuxes using pins or tape, and many of the pants on the men were too short! Even my son's who was the groom! When we complained, there was no time to get another pair in before the wedding. My son's wedding pictures now show him with pants on that are noticeably too short. My father (the groom's grandfather) had pinned cuffs dropping down into his food all night. I understand that every fit was not going to be perfect, but at least somewhere close! My son weighs 205 lbs, and the original shirt ordered for him was a SMALL! He wears a LARGE/XL in most shirts. Not only are the people who measure for tuxes completely lacking skills (in all 3 of the locations used - Friendswood, TX, Mobile, AL, and Tallahassee, FL!) but the alterations people in these locations are also terrible (including the Conroe, TX location). My step-father''s coat was way too small, and the Conroe location he used said they would "fedex" him another one on the morning of the wedding, but unfortunately, we never even heard back from them! Some guys got emails saying their tuxes were ready, but many did not. So for many, there was no option for alterations by the time they picked up the tux, and as I said, even my son had alterations, and the pants were still too short, and by the time he got the pants, it was too late to get others. I am requesting a refund for every single groomsmen and parent/grandparent who rented a tux for the 9/16/22 event under reservation #**********

      We bought three Costumized mens suits for our October wedding in August. The store has several service which waste our time and patience.1. They Costumized our suit with the totally wrong material we want - we told the guy what we want and point out the material and the guy ordered the completely different wrong one! It waste one month for our wedding planning. So we don't have the suit we want for the photoshooting.2. Longer waiting period than they told us, one of our suit need to altered the pant length, we was told it will be quick and it will be finished in one week. Now is about one month, it still not finished and no one can give us any information about when it gonna finished3. sent us emails about "garment is ready" , we spent one hour on the traffic and in the end nothing actually arrived. Totally waste our time.Overall choosing mens Wearhouse is a totally wrong decision and we are still wait for their resolution or correct instructions or at least finish their work on time!!!

      I purchased a suit on 6/25/2022 at The Men's Wearhouse, Inc. store in Whitehall, PA 18052. The total cost of the suit was $789.46. The suit needed some adjustments. They charged me $49.99 to make the adjustments. When I picked up the suit, the pants were too short. They adjusted them two more times. The jacket was wrinkled. They tried to press out the wrinkles and were not successful. I had to take the suit to an independent tailor to see if they could get the wrinkles out. They were successful but it cost $15.00 to do so. The Men's Wearhouse ID was *********. I want a refund for the adjustments and tailor expense.
