I went to get a prom suit for my son but the Seller wanted to show me all the suits that were plain in my opinion he still tried it on, I asked about suit I saw on another young man who happened to be ***** ****** the sells lady states that those suits are for private school kids, I am a African American woman so I knew what she was saying this as if she knew my African American son was not in private school, Talked to the manager and they stated she said it was not meant that way and he did nothing about it

My girlfriend and I went to the store because I needed to buy a suit for a wedding. The salesperson helped me try on several suits. The one I was interested in was an Egara suit, and the salesman told me that there was a special where I would get a free shirt and tie with the purchase of the suit. I was ready to buy it. The salesman told me that only slim-fit shirts were available for the offer, and I asked if I could substitute another kind of shirt. He said he'd ask his manager. When he did, the manager said no, looked at me, and said I wasn't eligible for the promotion. When he asked why, the manager looked at me and said "look at him, he's not going to a prom" (I'm in my 50s). He said that only people who actually go to a prom could get the promotion. Both my girlfriend and I thought this was absurd (why should you care where we wear a suit after I bought it) so we asked him to show her the policy that stated the suit must be worn to a prom. He printed out a piece of paper describing the promotion, nothing about having to wear it to a prom. It did, however, say that it was a "Wedding/Prom" promotion, and when I saw that I said, "Well it says wedding/prom, and I AM going to a wedding, and I can prove it." The manager still denied me the promotion. I asked for his first name so I could follow up with the corporate office, and he said, "I don't have to give you my name." The long and short of it is that I was denied a promotion that should not exclude older people. I was ready to shell out over $300 for a suit, and they didn't want my money. The manager was extremely rude and dismissive, and when we saw that he wasn't going to budge, we went and bought my suit from a competitor. This was my first, and definitely my last, visit to Men's Wearhouse. My experience was negative from start to finish, and I would never go back and certainly never recommend MW to others.

I've been emailing and calling MW since August of this year to get answers concerning making online orders. No one is able to provide helpful information. I keep getting options of calling in to make an order, which has not worked or going to a store to make the purchase - not convenient and supposes I live in close distance to a store. When I call in to speak with a MW employee about why I cannot make an online purchase, they don't even know what's going on. All I want is answers, and I'm sure MW wants my business. I would give zero stars, but that isn't an option.

This store location is without air conditioning and I was told by the employees that they have been without since April. It is currently the end of August and there is a heat advisory in place. The store is at least in the 90s Fahrenheit and anyone that is in there is at risk of passing out from heat stroke. These are unsafe conditions for employees and customers alike. Men’s Wearhouse is places profits over people’s safety. This is extremely concerning and extremely dangerous. The poor employees look like they could faint.

I visited the location below on 07/11/2024 Men's Wearhouse 27632 Crown Valley Pkwy Mission Viejo, CA 92691-6522 When I arrived, I handed my receipt to one of the three employees present. The gentleman asked what I was picking up, to which I responded that it was the suit listed on the receipt. He then asked me what color the suit was. After my wife mentioned that it was green, he returned with the suit and instructed me to try it on, as I had some alterations done to the pants. I tried on the suit and came out of the dressing room to find that no employees were around, only my wife. I got dressed and placed the suit on the counter, but the employee who had been assisting me was nowhere to be found. Another gentleman walked out to the counter, glanced at me, and then turned around and went to the back of the store. I called out, "Excuse me, Sir, I am ready to go," to which he responded, "Okay." I then asked, "Sir, can I at least get a Men's Wearhouse bag to put my suit in?" He then put the suit in a bag, handed it to me, and walked away without a word. I sarcastically said, "You're welcome!" and he finally replied, "Thank you." Frustrated, I told him, "Sir, your customer service here is terrible." He asked, "What sucks about our service?" I explained, "When a customer has to ask you to put their suit in a bag, that's poor customer service. You should know better." As a customer, I would appreciate your guidance on the level of service I should have expected from Men's Warehouse. It is disappointing to experience such a lack of basic customer service, especially when preparing for an important event like my daughter's wedding. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response and hope that steps will be taken to improve your service standards. I hope you will address this issue to improve the experience for future customers.

There should be “0” star option! Men’s Wearhouse in Fresno, Ca. 7/21/24 Incompetent management and staff. Poor customer service. We wanted to return a coat and pants but we couldn’t, because they took the tags off. Very stupid of them to take off the tags so we couldn’t return the items. This is a SCAM! We were able to return the shirts and tie, because those incompetent workers didn’t take the tags off. I would never recommend this horrible company to anyone, go somewhere else… Please read negative reviews first, I wish we did.

Worst experience. They don’t abide by their own websites return policy. I called prior to and got confirmation before attempting to return an item. This company’s left hand doesn’t know what the right is doing An absolute shame

I recently went to this store to purchase a tuxedo. After trying on a few items, I was told that part of my order would need to ship from a different store and that I would need to come back to get tailored once the items arrived. I contacted the store a couple days later to inquire about the items and was told that they had arrived and that I could come in, any time, to get them tailored. Bear in mind that this wall all time sensitive as I needed the tux for an upcoming event. I asked if I could return to the store on a specific date and for verification that the tailor would be there own that date..... I was told "yes." The store is a two hour round trip from my residence so I wanted to be absolutely sure that the tailor would be there when I arrived. When I arrived, an associate handed me a bag containing various items, as well as the tux jacket and said, "you are all set." I found this odd because I had not yet even met the tailor and my tux had not been altered! I asked to see the tailor and was told "he isn't in today" and I then explained that I was there by appointment specifically to meet the tailor. The response was, "oh, well he is out for the Thanksgiving holiday." Hmmmmmm...... I specifically scheduled my visit on a day I was told the tailor would be there. I was told I would now need to return a 3rd time to get fitted. And let's not forget I would still need to come back a 4th time to pick everything up. That is 8 hours of driving across 250 miles or round trips!!!! I have been a Men's Wearhouse customer for over 25 years but am writing this review to let them know that I will NEVER set foot in one of their stores again. They have lost my business forever and I have come to realize that purchasing clothing from this establishment is akin to ordering a #4 at a fast food restaurant......This company is in crises and, if you are on the market for men's cloths, buyer beware: they are clearly on the decline and on their way out.

They are absolutely deceptive. Ordered a suit for our upcoming wedding online. The pants we received in the mail were a size 40 instead of a 36. We returned entire suit and customer service placed a second order for us on the phone which was about $30 dollars more than the first order. We were offered free overnight shipping to ensure that it arrived in time for our wedding that weekend. Breakdown- $58.15 for jacket, $39.99 for pants- Subtotal was $98.14. Tax was $8.10- total paid $106.24. Suit did arrive in time- except the pants still did not fit. They were way too big. We were forced to go to a local store and buy another pair of pants for the wedding. I initiated a refund for the pants on September 5th. Email I got said I should expect an estimated refund of $39.99. September 21st, I get an email saying my $30.21 refund was processed. Called customer service and they informed me that the pants and jacket were discounted to $30.21. After adding it all up and trying to explain to them that I was given a $24.00 discount on SHIPPING due to their error in sending the wrong pants the first time. Instead their system calculated the $24.00 on the items instead. My receipt shows a completely different amount breakdown. To make this plain and simple, they don't offer refunds on the shipping charges. I had eaten the first shipping charge as well. It seems they will manually discount things in their system to make the price reflect what they want. Customer service's "records" reflect a $43.93 suit jacket, $30.21 for pants- subtotal $74.14, plus $8.10 in tax and $24.00 in shipping. This is why they are only refunding me $30.32. By their own records- if the suit was in fact $74.14 - I should have only paid $6.12 in sales tax. Texas has a sales tax rate of 8.25%. They are deceptive when it comes to their refunds, refusing to offer a full refund for items that were returned, unused within the 90 day window- and items that were completely wrong from what was originally ordered.

Manager of store became confrontational when asked a question. about my previous experience. Became visibly angry- face red, body shaking- talking loud and fast. When asked to step away and just give me contact information Manager if store continued to behave erratically and bizarre, another employee had to take manager to another room and then continued to attempt to assist me. I am still waiting for someone above that manager to call me back. It was totally unacceptable behavior and totally unacceptable behavior of a manage period! I will NEVER ago back to this location or any other location or store affiliated with Men’s Warehouse again! Worst customer experience ever! Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere first!
