This company called my siblings left voicemails to reach me. I called them wondering what was so urgent be in I had no calls from them at that time. I spoke with a Gail and her administrator (male) who by the way does not understand how a two way conversation works. Gail called me a criminal stated that the local sheriff office was trying to serve me at my previous address and that I had not correctly done a change of address. She also went on to say that they would garnish my husband’s wages ( the so called debt was obtained before we met) and they would serve him at his work. Although, she refused to release his information. I spent a month with a full credit investigation to find no debt of such in my name and the creditor their number did not match and had no recollection of my debt. When I called Stein and Ross they became combative hung up on me and gave me three different answers between Gail and her supervisors and other staff. I will continue to watch the court system and file complaints and monitor record calls. This place is a scam and a joke.

First of all Stein and Ross called me and left a voice mail making it sound extremely urgent and that I had to call today, but really didn't tell me what it was about. I called the toll-free number that they left. I got a very bad connection with a lot of static. Wouldn't a reputable company make sure their phones didn't have static. They had all my information and insisted that credit card charges were mine. I explained to her I have had only one credit card since a specific year and ***** is not it. ***** ******** said she would be sending me documents and refused give me any other information except the amount charged over the phone such as when or where these charges were made. I checked all three credit reports and the charges are not showing anywhere. They have already started texting my relatives. ***** even tried to misquote me back to myself. She said she could hear me. I told her it was a very bad connection and I had to ask her to repeat herself several times. ***** said there would be court action. I don't understand how they can threaten me with court action when it appears someone stole my identity and the charges are not listed on any of the three main credit reports, My suggestion is to never use this company for anything. Did someone steal my identity or did this company just find someone with the same name to take to court. Even if these were my charges, do they have the right to contact my relatives?
