During the month of February I sought after a contractor Jason of All In One Remodeling and Construction for the remodeling of my home. My husband and I signed a contract with him at that time with a start date of March 2, 2022 and to be completed April 8th. Contract states that he would paint the entire house, carpet and tile the floors, as well as granite the kitchen. A wine cooler was also to be placed in the kitchen. The total was set as 37,664 with 30% down, which was 11,500. The down payment was made Feb 15th at the time of signing. I also have another estimate showing more details of the work that was to be completed. On May 11, 2022 Jason of All in One Remodeling gave me an update of payments and work totaling 31,208. General painting, materials and labor, tile first level, granite and open island, stair case and carpet. Second floor carpet and painting. Demolition clean out debrief. 2nd payment of 7,500 and 3rd of 7,500 were made on 3/15 and 5/11/2022. My house was left in disarray, the flooring is complete and nearly all of the painting. I have made several attempts to work with him on completing the job but he does not answer calls or text. Its now September and I still no communication. His worker remove my countertops and never replaced them. I can not cook in my kitchen there is no place to put anything. They spray painted the new floors while painting the cabinets. Also the kitchen paint was damaged. The repair to the stairs was never done. Trash was left in my garage and on my back patio. I want the 25,000 I paid refunded, he has breached it and will not complete the work. I have to find a new contractor not only to complete the job, but also correct the damages he caused.
