1 starThey say they don’t share or sell your information, we trusted them, they farmed out all our corporate and owners personal information. We now get bombarded with calls. Then they said they couldn’t verify us. We’ve been in business for over 3 years with strong financials. I would not trust this company, run, go to your local bank where you can trust them not to share personal informationReview fromA former customer G

I think this company is extremely fake. They collect a lot of information from a lot of businesses and never really send out grants. I have talked 24 profit and non profit business owners that have been filling out grants with hello, alice for 22 years and never receive even one. I wouldn't recommend them at all.The long drawn out applications and the information that they request for you to give them about your business only to get denied is a scam.Hello Alice

Hello, We appreciate and recognize the tremendous needs for capital in a small business. While we do work to create equitable access for historically underserved groups, we are firmly committed to supporting all business owners in successfully launching and growing their businesses. Hello Alice is proud to have distributed $50M in grants to all ethnicities, and I’m happy to share any information about what we are doing to help support small business! We do publish all of our grant recipient announcements for transparency, which you can see on our Support Center under the "Grant & Boost Camp Recipient Announcements" section. Our grant programs are designed to provide financial assistance to businesses that meet specific eligibility requirements based on each program’s goals and objectives. At this time, non-profits are not eligible to apply for our grant programs. We receive a large number of applications for each program, and unfortunately, due to a set number of grants, not every applicant will receive funding. However, we work diligently to ensure the selection process is fair and equitable. This process involves several rounds of review, including an initial screening to determine eligibility and an evaluation of the application against the specified judging criteria of the program as stated in the program's Terms and Conditions. Our grant partners have specific criteria for selecting recipients, such as alignment with the priorities and goals of the grant program, the capacity of the applicant to carry out the project, and the potential impact on the target audience or community. If you have any further questions or want to know more about how Hello Alice is supporting small business, please email [email protected] and our team will be happy to further assist you! Thank you for your email, Vee! It's common to confuse our grant programs with universal or entitlement programs, which provide benefits to all eligible applicants. However, our grant programs are different. They are designed to provide financial assistance to businesses that meet specific eligibility requirements based on each program’s goals and objectives. We receive a large number of applications for each program, and unfortunately, due to a set number of grants, not every applicant will receive funding. However, we work diligently to ensure the selection process is fair and equitable. At anytime if you are looking for a status of your grant application, please feel free to reach out directly to our Owner Support Team at [email protected] and one of our agents would be happy to look at your grant application and provide information as to where the program is in its decisioning cycle and give you any additional infromation about the program you have applied to. I strongly advise against using Hello Alice for grants. The platform puts you through a lengthy, time-consuming process, only to result in repeated rejections. It appears that most of the grants are directed toward Black-owned, women-led businesses, particularly in the health, beauty, and tech sectors, which has led to several pending lawsuits. If you don’t fall into those categories, your chances are minimal. For ***** and giggles, I submitted an application as a biracial gay person and actually got further along in the review process—which tells me something... with the same application form....hrrmm. Save yourself the time, effort, and false hope—seek funding from more transparent and equitable sources.Hello Alice

Hello Lulu, At Hello Alice, we understand that waiting for grant money can be stressful, and we're here to help clear up any confusion. It's common to confuse our grant programs with universal or entitlement programs, which provide benefits to all eligible applicants. However, our grant programs are different. They are designed to provide financial assistance to businesses that meet specific eligibility requirements based on each program’s goals and objectives. This process involves several rounds of review, including an initial screening to determine eligibility and an evaluation of the application against the specified judging criteria of the program as stated in the program's Terms and Conditions. It's important to note that the number of applications and the time of application are not factors in our selection process. Additionally, submitting more than one application for a program could harm your chances of receiving a grant. Our grant partners have specific criteria for selecting recipients, such as alignment with the priorities and goals of the grant program, the capacity of the applicant to carry out the project, and the potential impact on the target audience or community. Finally, please note that Hello Alice does not post about our programs in Facebook groups or non-Hello Alice-controlled websites, and we never charge any fees to process or receive grant funds. We want to help you succeed, and we're always here to answer any questions you may have about our programs or the application process. I worked with a young man named Matias A. Never has securing a business line of credit been so easy! Got me more than I expected, with rates lower than I expected, within 2 days. I was not sure, nor excited about this company and their "diversity and inclusion" mantra, but I will say if you need a quick Line of Credit for your business, ask for my guy Matias A.Hello Alice
