I hired Brian W****** as legal counsel for a divorce case on 06/23/2022. Before I retained him, he made grandiose promises. I paid Brian W****** over $56,000 for representation over the course of the case, despite his initial estimate that the case would conclude with the first retainer but later kept asking for more and more money and threatening to abandon. Classic bait and switch. Upon payment, Brian W****** delegated my case to an associate who exhibited a lack of understanding of the case and made several key mistakes. I experienced limited communication and lack of responses from Brian W******. Brian W****** allegedly facilitated the opposing counsel in the illegal disclosure of my previously expunged private records, despite being informed of the illegality and being shown the letter from the District Attorney's office. I begged him to file a Motion to Exclude Expunged Records and he finally did. It was granted. It seems strange that the lawyer would take the effort to file a pretrial motion and obtain a ruling to exclude the items and then at trial not object that the items were being offered at trial. He showed no objection after I informed him many times this was illegal. He was supposed to represent me and I trusted him, but he showed neglect and lack of communication. Multiple attempts to address and resolve the issue through emails and calls have been unsuccessful. Brian W****** has shown refusal to rectify the situation and protect my privacy by concealing the disclosed records.
