The technician did not show up to the first appointment, when I called the office to find out where he was they told me the appointment wasn’t until the next day. When I went back to check the appointment I noticed I was correct and the guy didn’t show up. I called back and told them that the appointment was for that day, they then admitted the technician just didn’t get to me. I felt like that was completely unprofessional to try and lie about the original appointment date. When I asked him and someone from the office how to make the process go faster they both said that if I were to pay out of pocket they could get the parts and get it fixed in a day or two, but going through the warranty company they would have to wait for parts from them. (I informed everyone I had already been without AC for 2 weeks due to the warranty company.) After a couple of days we still hadn’t heard anything, come to find out Efficient was supposed to be getting the parts to fix our AC but didn’t talk to our warranty company so they were “waiting” to get the parts from them. When I called Efficient they said now it would take 5-7 business days to get parts. I thought this was very suspicious or maybe even manipulative considering 2 people I talked to prior said that if I were to pay out of pocket and they supplied the parts it could be fixed in 1-2 days. After another missed appointment they finally came and got it running again, only to find out 2 of the larger priced items they made us pay for out of pocket were not done because they were not needed (we tried to tell them when we originally got the invoice those things wouldn’t be needed but they made us pay for them anyways). We requested a refund for the parts not done, and they tried to talk us into “holding on to them” until we needed them. The owner then called my husband and said he’d only give us the refund if he took down his bad review on ******. Then called after to pressure him to take down his review on BBB.Efficient Air Inc.

My 18+ year old AC system was giving me all kinds of problems. I knew I had to replace the whole system for a peace of mind. I started making some phone calls. One company asked $300 just to come by and give me a quote. Another company sales rep came by for free and I ended up with a$23,000 SHOCKING quote. Then I wanted to call Efficient Air. I have been seeing their adds in Youtube as well as Facebook. I called and talked a sales person, Mr. Luke. He gave me a 1/3 of the quote that I received from this other AC company. I was shocked again!!! I really had hard time believing. I really thought I was being scammed. But i decided to proceed with the offer. The following day (Today 02/04/2025) four young gents showed up lead by Mr. Rolando on time at 8AM as scheduled. At 12PM, Exactly in 4 hours these guys removed my old system, installed the new one. I ordered pizza for them after their hard work, gave them well deserved tips. Honestly l really thought that I was being scammed with the total cost and timely service. I cautiously waited for a GOTHCA or A CATCH!!! But No! The whole process went unbelievably smooth. Mr. Luke, the salesman was very informative, upfront and honest. The technician/installers were ordinary guys with smiley faces, very kind, respectful, and they knew what they were doing. I really consider my family and I very lucky dealing with this whole AC system replacement by Efficient Air Company. Thank you Luke for your honesty. Thank you Ronaldo and his crew for GREAT workmanship. This is an honest review. Initially had a tech come out (after completely missing a confirmed appointment the previous day) and tell us that our condenser coil had broken and leaked all of the refrigerant out. They would have to get a new condenser coil and since we were going through a home warranty, the warranty company would have to order the parts. Called the warranty company who approved the repairs and said that Efficient Air would be sourcing the parts. After a few days of nothing, we called Efficient Air who said they were waiting on the parts from the warranty company even though I had personally confirmed that the warranty company had told them to order the parts. Efficient Air then said it would take 5-7 business days to get the parts in even though the tech had said they would get the parts in a day if we were to pay out of pocket. Finally, after getting heated with one of their costumer service reps (it had been 3 weeks without ac), he decided to check and see if they had the parts needed. Lo and behold, they were sitting in their warehouse and the tech would be out the next day to install it. We waited around all day in the heat only to be told he came by, sat for 10min and because it was raining, decided to leave, without telling ANYONE. Costumer service didn't know when he would be there but reassured us he would be there by the end of the day. But by 8pm we had heard nothing. We started calling every number we could find from the company and when we finally got ahold of someone they laughed at us and said they couldn't deal with it right now since they were with their family. So were we in an 82 degree house. The tech finally showed up the next morning at 530am and proceeded to install the coil, which didn't require half of the work that was quoted and we had to pay out of pocket for. So now we're waiting on a response after getting told 3 times finance would call us to refund the $380 we paid for work that was neither required nor done. DO NOT WORK WITH THESE GUYS.Efficient Air Inc.

NEVER, NEVER, NEVER hire this company for anything. If you're on fire and they have the only source of water, they'd let you burn! Their customer service is sub-par at best, no follow up whatsoever. Had to order a part from Carrier and was advised it would take 20 days, that was 35 days ago and the tech was supposed to be here yesterday to install and he was a NO SHOW!!! Did I mention this is Texas where there's been a heat advisory every day for 2 weeks. Come On people. Do BETTER!!! If there were negative star numbers, they would receive them!Efficient Air Inc.

Good afternoon Ms. Killian, We understand how frustrating it can be and we try our best to expedite service but some issues are out of our control. There are procedures with the home warranty that we need to submit report and get authorization/approval to return and replace part. The part again was ordered and again due to issues out of our control the part was not in stock. I do see that the technician did return with the part and checked all operations and system working properly. This company is a joke and a scam. We had a unit installed and a contract for all new ductwork and that was a lie. The ductwork is the same from house builders. Now we have water stains all throughout our house and cannot get anyone to respond! We had to pay another company to completely install a whole new system because the entire system that Efficient Air installed in our home, mind you they coned my 77 year old father and my 73 year old mother who mind you is a cancer patient CURRENTLY back in the hospital and we cannot get this company to even call us back! RUN!!! DO NOT use this company. We now have mold in our vents and they just installed this crappy, NOT UP TO CODE system on 6/7/2024. And yes, I have PROOF to buck up my statements as well as documentation of every phone call made and not returned by ANYONE in the company.Efficient Air Inc.

Poor customer service and follow up. Had A/C installed, but unable to install the filter. Been working with the company for about a month to resolve the issue. They sent a technician out who didn't keep the scheduled appointment. Finally showed up 4 hours later and he could not resolve the issue either. Technician indicated that he was writing up the issue, but have not heard back from Efficient Air in over a week. Called to follow up and they indicated that they would get back with me. Would not recommend hiring these guys for any work. Very poor customer service.Efficient Air Inc.

Efficient Air is the Best air conditioning company I’ve ever dealt with They are fast , reliable and surprisingly affordable compared to so many other AC companies.. I’ve had to deal with several ac companies over the years while being employed with a large multi home rental company and the air conditioners were a constant issue .. Efficient air was probably the most professional, honest and transparent ac company of all .Efficient Air Inc.

Purchased an Air Conditioning unit installed that came with a 10 year warranty. 10 years free labor and parts among other items included. Also came with a 3 yr maintaince. 1. Business rises to honor 10 ye. Free là or and parts. Now they want to charge $180 service fee for a visit. It is like pulling teeth to get the scheduled mainance completed because if scheduled maintance is not completed, warranty is void. Truly a mark of scammers.Efficient Air Inc.

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. I am very sorry we failed to meet your expectations. I see that a manager reached out to you as well and tried to get this resolved and was able to get you up and running. We gave you a temporary fix to get you up and running as quickly as possible until we had the original motor in stock to replace it. You made a verbal agreement that we would return with the original motor and you would withdraw any complaints. The motor was replaced with its original motor and the system is working properly. We kept our side of the verbal agreement and we tried our best to make things right.Anthony G

**** ***** ** ** ******** ***** I never verbally agreed to anything. The only reason he came out 5 days after contacting him was because he was served a summons to appear in small claims court concerning this matter. Prior to this time he repeated refused to honor the warranty stated on the Bill of Sale. I had to contact another company to diagnose the problem, then when he arrived to fix the issue, he tried to accused the company that diagnosed the problem of rewiring it incorrectly. I watched everything the other company did and they did not remove, add or change any wiring. Upon completing the first temporary repair, he said I needed to sign a paper stating that he fixed the problem but after reading it carefully, the document also stated that I would agree to dismiss the small claim case against him. After his second visit in which he finally replaced the fan motor with the correct OEM part, he again attempted to get me to sign the paper. Then he attempted to have his repair man to get me to sign a document in which his repair man stated, "I had to sign it or he will not get paid for doing his job." I told his repair man that I will not sign anything and he should pay as he assigned you to this job and watch you perform most of the work. I can go on and on with additional lies and deceitful business tactics but I think you get the point that this owner is a **** **** *****t.Efficient Air Inc.

Scam company. 4 year old unit not did not covered the warranty. Was charched 195 for service fee and diagnosed with burned circuit board and did not want to cover. They said because i did not do any maintenance. When i paid them over 6000. They came the same day and did not say anything about a maintenance just to sell. Do not buy anything ftom them. Very bad service and disloyal to their customers. Only reason for one star was because they wouldn't let me do zero.Efficient Air Inc.

We do apologize that you feel that you were being scammed. I have to ask, would you have a car for 4 years with out changing out the oil? maintenance is required for any piece of equipment in order to keep the warranty valid, whether it be an AC unit a vehicle, clothes dryer. As far as the $195, this is a service fee, similar to the doctors office with a copay. We are a reputable company charging reasonable prices, making reasonable requests to maintain your equipment.
