We bought a ***** *** machine from Boomlifts4sale.com (Seller is Matthew B******* ), first complaint is that the machine took almost three months to be ready to ship, and second and worst of all is that we received an unusable machine, with rusted connectors, severely damaged hydraulic lines, a motor that is not the original and the one they put on the machine is not installed properly so to this date we have been unable to use it. I reached out to Matthew on several occasions and he has downplayed the severity of the bad state of the machine we got and has been unwilling to reach any sort of fair agreement. I have had a local mechanic check the machine and he has given us a roughly $4,000 dls estimate to get the machine to working order, so all we want is reimbursement for the 4,000 dls so we can have it fixed and move on. Attached you will find the invoice, the payments sent and the state of the machine. also attached is the quote from the local mechanic to have it fixed (it's in Mexican Pesos) Looking forward to your reply, thank you, Mauro

    Business Response

Client ask for quotes from January to June 2022. Order was confirmed June and all refurbished units are when sold have a lead time.

We were within lead time.   Sent final check out pictures of ***** *** prior to shipping. Customer approved but requested the tires to be swapped. We swapped the tires.

Shipped  machine client received. Complained about battery holder, joystick covers, injector return diesel lines were leaking and two hydraulic hoses that had rust on the connections. Many of the issues were from transportation from Houston to San Diego and the rest we had no problem to offered to send back up parts but explained to client that many parts are on backorder.  Our industries since covid has had huge material and parts shortages.  The engine we had swapped since the original during refurbishing had power loss issue. So we swapped with a reconditioned.  We had requested on several occasions the hoses and location of the rusty connection so we could send. We never got a response.

Shortly after client sent us an invoice with with unknown business  demanding $4000. The invoice was not industry standard invoice for aerial equipment nor explained in detail with parts numbers and proper information. The invoice did not have a proper address, nothing affiliated with a dealer we could contact. NO PROPER INFORMATION FOR THE BUSINESS. We asked for contact information for the repair company and were never received anything of the repair company.

We have been in the aerial equipment business for over 20 years and know the cost for replacement and fixing any type of aerial equipment.  The engine was installed per dealer instructions. We have no problem sending replacement parts that are needed. We have sent the battery holder , broken dipstick replacement.

We had sold client a unit 2018 with issues past warranty and we had sent the replacement hose in good faith.
