--- Home Roof Leaks - Faulty Materials & Workmanship, Repairs were promised, but never done. January 2022, Stuart notified David Weekly of the issue resulting in leaks coming from the roof. Stuart had independent evaluation of roof concerns from **** * ***** Feedback is that the under-laminate and install practices are most likely the cause of the leaks, no tile concerns Austin completed a site visit As of 2/15/22 Stuart Follow up with Austin on the actual leak concerns Austin ***** agrees to fix the problem that there are concerns as other homeowners have experience the similar issue Austin confirms again that they have had additional issues int he North Valley and waiting for Additional reports, but re-iterates that David Weekly would be addressing my repairs the following week As of 4/25/22 Austin notifies that the sub-contractor is still pending - Still in holding pattern Stuart follows up between 5/13 - 6/20 no response from Austin As of 6/27/22 Per Austin, Stuart was asked to provide an updated Quote from **** * **** - Agrees that I should not have to weight on contract negations and if David Weekly needs to cut a check to move forward with **** * **** than that’s right approach. Stuart sent Quote to Austin Stuart sent follow-up to Austin on 7/1 As of 7/12/22 ******* Sub-Contractor consultants completes site visit, On-site feedback from ******* is tiles look good, but drone cannot tell if under-laminate or install technics are causing defects This is the same feedback I got from independent Contractor (**** * ****) back in January (notated above) The detailed pictures used in the report are not the same style of tiles on my rood, did ******* even do the assessment off my roof? As of 7/15/22 Austin ***** says that there will be no further action due to no active leak. Austin indicates ******* is hesitant to conduct an attic inspection due to shallow pitch/roof On 8/4/22 Stuart notified David Weekly of another leak due to recent rain.

My husband and I bought a David Weekley Home on 11/30/21. Things were not finished at the time of closing or the final walk through. We were told through our builder that it would get fixed that day. Unfortunately, it has been roughly 9 months and we have yet to have the items on our list to be addressed. We have been kept in the dark with our warranty rep, who "slides things under the rug". We have reached out to our specific warranty rep and the manager of the warranty department with no update. We had contractors scheduled to come out last month for no one to show. David Weekley has not followed through with their purpose as a business. My husband and I have yet to experience what 93% of their customers state as living to their purpose: Building Dreams, Enhancing Lives.

In 2021, we purchased a new build David Weekley home, spending just over $1,000,000. Several months after we moved in, the wood floors began moving a creating a "peak" in our basement and our main floor. The peak was 6-8 inches off the ground. We contacted David Weekley and it took them over six weeks to get out and look at the issue. Once they saw it, they got someone out to fix it several weeks later. Fast forward six months into owning our home, the floors starting moving again. We contacted David Weekley and they told us to wait until our one year mark so the house completed most of its "shifting". At one year (April 2022) we filed another service order because the floors continued to get worse. It took David Weekley three months to even get out to look at the flooring. In July 2022, they sent a contractor out to remove our baseboards and remove the flooring pieces that were moving. On August 2nd, David Weekley was supposed to come look at the cracked concrete under our flooring, which is causing the floors to shift a peak. We have yet to hear from the person that was supposed to come look at the cement. We have now gone three weeks with exposed nails, baseboards removed, wood floor panels removed, and exposed concrete. We have five children, including a two year old. This has now become a severe risk to our family and possibly getting inured by the peaking floors and exposed nails. We are entitled, per the home warranty, to have these floors fixed and NOT to be living in a construction zone. The post sale warranty process has been absolutely horrendous, and I will not be recommending anyone to purchase a home from them due to how awful this has been. David Weekley needs to come fix our construction zone and our floors or I will be taking further action.

The flooring they installed is defective. They replaced some part of it in 2021. The flooring company told at that time that the product is flawed. 2 days later got a call that it is normal. Just had an assessment done again. The flooring company this time that the product is defective but since David Weekley builder has to pay for the replacement they keep telling that it is normal. I asked for the assessment and they keep giving excuses.

      Regards,

How is it not warrantable? You guys replaced it last year and at the same location the flooring is cracking. Even the report provided by the flooring company says it was previously replaced. So how is it not under warranty?

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.

What offers did you make? I am only asking a simple yes or no question. Does the replacement floor come with a 1 year warranty. Yes or No?

I also asked about license number in SC but nobody replies. I sent 5 emails about that. How many time you replied? 0. I never got any email.

If you are so sure why don't you give your South Carolina license number and then we will see.

You replaced a floor at some places last year after it was cracked. At 3 places the floor again cracked. It is the exact same location where you replaced it. So I want to know if it comes with a 1 year warranty or not. It is a Yes or No question.

      Regards,

Yes, there is a one year warranty, but the floors were damaged by the homeowner and therefore not warrantable.  We have responded directly to the customer regarding his license number request.

How did i damage the floors? The email i got says i use excessive water. If i use excessive water than the whole floor should be cracked. The floor which is cracked is the same place where you guys replaced it last year. Where in the report says i damaged the floor.

Please don't make up things. How did you come to the conclusion that I damaged the floor? and please tell me how did i damage the floor.
