On January 8th 2021, I hired Incfile to process my business filings (LLC filing). Within this process, Incfile provided my virtual business address as my business is e-commerce. I initially paid $402.00 and I continue to pay $29.99 monthly for the virtual business address and Incfile has committed to ensuring that I receive documents mailed to this address. However, on December 18th 2021, I was granted a major business opportunity to sell with Amazon and as Amazon was processing my business documents, they mailed a postcard with a code attached to the business address, I was then supposed to give them the code to verify that the address is indeed my business address. Amazon replied back to me that the business address was undeliverable; therefore, causing me to lose this opportunity. I contacted Incfile by telephone multiple times to rectify the situation. The customer service representatives were indignant and did not try to resolve my situation. I have also sent 4 emails to rectify the situation; however, to no avail. One of their supervisors called me and told me that the address is deliverable and indicated that Amazon is lying although I sent the proof with the email all 4 times. The supervisor also verified that I did indeed give Amazon the right address. At this time, Incfile is unwilling to accept my telephone calls, respond to emails or rectify the situation.Business response

The company was filed within four business days. The address used is correct and we do receive tons of mail each day. Amazon cards come through the mail system very slowly. Most of the time within several states- the amazon cards either do not show up or have to be sent more than once. We have made multiple clients aware this is on Amazon's side as we receive all mail on our client's behalf. We are more than happy to change the service if they are not satisfied with the address provided. We will reach out to client once again.Customer response

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ******** and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.
[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.]I am not satisfied with the response of this business as the reasoning provided by the business is not communicated upon time of filing and virtual business address processing. Incfile has a responsibility to ensure that mail can be delivered at the provided address, which is not reflected by correspondence from Amazon. Incfile has caused my business to lose an opportunity for my business to expand and should be held liable for non-delivery of mail. It is not the responsibility of the business owner to ensure effective delivery of mail as the business pays Incfile $29.99 a month for their business virtual address services.

The virtual office works when we receive any mail on your behalf. We absolutely upload any mail received. We can not make amazon send the codes out in a timely manner or make them arrive at a certain timeframe- what we can do is upload as soon as received. We work diligently to get all mail out and scanned to our virtual addresses in a timely manner.Initial Complaint

Houston BBB: On November 30, 2021 I formed an LLC through incfile.com. On their website I had an option for expedited service and my entity would be formed in 7-10 days. I elected not to do this because the site stated that it could take up to three weeks - and I only needed it by the end of the year. It is now six weeks after the fact. I left an email, and a voicemail both with no response. I finally got ahold of someone today who said that Delaware was the hold up so I called Delaware. Not the case at all. They have no record of my LLC being filed yet - which incfile insisted it had done over a month ago. I want a refund and an apology. I will NEVER do business with these people again.Business response

The filing has been completed. When ordering a nonexpedite filing- we are at the mercy of the state. The state of De became back logged right around the holiday season. If ordering an expedite filing the time frame is most secure. Thank youInitial Complaint

We use Incfile's mail forwarding service for our company. We have reported multiple times that our checks are getting opened and cashed fraudulently. The service is awful. I have reported it to Incfile and they have refused to do anything about it. Do not use their mail forwarding services for anything financial as someone will steal your checks and your identityBusiness response

11/2021 I made and order for a company registration with "IncFile" (pay249.00). This company included me and another company as members. The member company had an address in TX. They placed my order on "hold" and asked me to open another company in GA, because GA don't allow partnering me with a company in TX. I ordered with IncFile a new company in GA (expedite and pay 389.00). I called to make sure that everything was in order and they confirmed and proceed with the original order with me and the new company based in GA. They forgot to change the TX address from the first order (I did confirmed this change with IncFile Support). They don't want to fix it saying that I didn't asked the address to be changed (which doesn't even make sense since the whole purpose of opening and paying expedite was their request) and I DID talked to support and support confirmed everything was in order. Bottom line, they don't want to fix anything, they say "it doesn't matter that the address is in TX". They won't fix it or close it so we can open a new one, they just told me that they wouldn't do anything about it, they investigation indicates it was me, and the only thing that I have to do is to pay more to get it fixed or confirm if I want to delete my account or not. Super rude and abusive. So I'm fixing it myself with the Secretary of State but I mean, are they allowed to be so "unilateral" and mess up and don't even be nice about their mistake? I just think that the least I can do is complain so they don't feel so entitled sending customers on their way with so much rudeness. In my opinion they should refund the 249 order since what they did was useless for me. I don't even know if the amendment will work, if it doesn't work I have to open a new one and pay again. Believe I asked them to fix it nicely and their answer was unprofessional. I don't want them contacting me and I don't care if they close my account. Thank you!Business response

Hello Karel-
The attachments shown are the invoices that you paid. It appears you were ordering two seperate companies from the beginning. Below is the request made by you from our chat. What I am looking for is a request from you for the change of address or a chat conversation or a phone call regarding the statement you made. I have viewed all communication and it appears we acted as requested by you in a timely manner for both accounts. One of the accounts was completed 22 days early. It appears we have also done previous orders for you with no problems at all. I assure you we will make any changes that we feel we have not met your expectations if we have been wrong. We are definately willing to help you make the change as you can see when we did send the link.
