    I have filled a complaint with American risk insurance to fix my house roof damaged by wind according with their adjuster.     My son has a pending lawsuit in which our lawyer asked us to file a claim with our home insurance company to see if they would cover the damages. We need a respond by March 27th. I filled the claim around February 12 and have not received any respond from my adjuster Mr. ***** *******. I called several times, left messages and no one has responded to me. I even spoke to another adjuster name **** who claimed he does not handle this type of request and refuse to provide me with any other contact information. **************** refuses to help me and just transfers me over to ***** ******* which is never available. My case number is 2025-01376. I need some resolution to this case asap. If the insurance company cannot cover the damage I simply need a letter stating they won't cover it.

    We opened a water damage claim on 10/18/2024 with American Risk Insurance. We spoke to our claim adjuster **** ******** he stated that it was our fault from day one and that he was not going to pay claim. With no information. A adjuster was sent out **** **** stated that we hade a claim and he would put a rush on it. We tried to contact American Risk Insurance on several occasions to no avail when we reached the each representative was very rude to us. We provided all documentation and pictures they needed we hired a plumber so secure the leak. We were left with a open wall and water damages this leak was behind the wall which is a hidden leak that we knew nothing about please help us in this terrible situation **** ******** , ***** ******* , and ******* are very rude.     I filed an insurance claim for hail damage that occurred 5.12.2024. I was issued a check by American Risk Insurance so repairs could be made. Once repairs were completed, I emailed required documents to American Risk Insurance on 9.17.2024 so that I would be paid the recoverable depreciation of $3,811.48. When i did not receive a confirmation, I called American Risk to ensure that I had the correct email address for the organization. Upon confirmation of the email address, I resent the required documents on 10.1.2024. In the meantime, I have called the organization in excess of 20 times trying to resolve my concern.     Hurricane ***** (0708/24) destroyed my fence and I have roof damage. Water on ceiling to different areas. After adjuster came out, *** sent me a letter (8/26/24) with a low ball number stating damage was less than deductible. I disagreed with them and they sent me another adjuster. This adjuster told me that he also disagreed with first adjuster stating there was more damage than what was reported from first adjuster. I'm unable to get an answer on this, when I do get in touch they say it's still under review. When I leave a message to be called back they don't respond. My house is on the market to be sold but I'm able to sell until damages are repaired. They don't have a problem taken my premium.

    This is by far the WORSE insurance company in the state of *****. It is impossible to reach anyone to discuss my claims which they have grossly underpaid. When I call I'm on hold forever and when I'm transferred to a **** I get their voice mail stating they can not come to the phone but to leave a message and someone will call me back. The mailbox is always FULL and I can never leave a message and on the rare times I have been able to leave a message for a call back NO ONE CALLS ME BACK. This has been going on since March 2024. This company deserves a "F" rating and criminal charges brought against them.

    We have our home insurance with American Risk in ******* off of ******. We submitted two claims back in June of 2024. Four months later, we have not received funds pending to be submitted to us. I call, send emails, etc and no answers or responses. I even went by in person and they would not help me. I can be reached at ************. Thank you.

    Date of Transaction:August 26, 2024, submitted all documents requested to show completion of work completed per their letter dated June 29, 2024. Their written requirement to receive the recoverable depreciation explicitly stated: 1. complete the actual repair or replacement of the damaged property within one year of the date of loss 2. Notify us within 30 days after the work has been completed.3. Confirm completion of repair or replacement by submitting invoices, receipts, and canceled checks. On August 26, 2024, I submitted: 1. a copy of their letter showing their requirements 2. copy of invoice 3. Certificate of Completion 4. A copy of Contractor Agreement 5. copy of the cashiers check of 1st payment to the contractor 6. Copy of check 7. A copy of the bank statement showing the check number since the bank does not provide canceled checks. On October 15, 2024, I called American Risk Insurance ***** to inquire about what is holding up the recoverable depreciation. *** informed me that I needed photos of the repair. It is important to note that I was never informed of any photos required until I called **** Furthermore, I was never contacted to be informed that my documents were received or that anything was missing. The amount of the Recoverable depreciation is $1078.76 *** estimated to repair or replace the damaged property is $3642.64 *** submitted a claim payment of $404.94 The contractor charged me $11,474.00, of which I applied for a loan to replace the roof. If photos were required, I would have submitted them as required. However, it's worth noting that none were requested in any of my communications with ***. This includes their initial letter, subsequent phone calls, and all other forms of communication.

    Subject: Urgent: Request for Resolution on Insurance Claim I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the extensive delays and lack of communication I have encountered in the processing of my insurance claim. My home suffered severe damages on June 10, 2024. Consequently, I engaged a public adjuster to handle my case, and together, we have made numerous attempts to reach out to Mr. **** ********, the insurance adjuster assigned to my claim, without any response.The protracted delay in resolving this matter has subjected my family and me to significant hardship. I am currently juggling a mortgage while incurring additional living expenses, such as dining out every day, paying for a temporary home on top of my mortgage payment. due to the untenable condition of my home. The severe damages have rendered most of my possessions unusable, and I have lost nearly everything I owned.Furthermore, the conditions in my house are deteriorating rapidly. It is now infested with rats and rodents, which are causing further damage to the property. Items temporarily stored in my garage have developed a foul odor and pose a serious health hazard. This situation has been a complete nightmare, significantly impacting the well-being of my four children and contributing to an uninhabitable living situation.I am appalled by the lack of urgency and care shown towards my claim, despite paying substantial insurance premiums. This negligence is unacceptable, and I demand an immediate resolution and the payment I am rightfully owed. I implore you to expediently address this matter to alleviate the continuous distress and financial burden imposed on my family.     American Risk Insurance Company submitted me a letter on September 04, 2024, regarding their position that due to the incurred expense for the roof repairs, it is less than the Actual Cash Value that has already been paid. Therefore, there is no recoverable depreciation available for the roof portion at this time. With that being said, it is also depicted in your letter that there is recoverable depreciation available for other repairs based on the estimate provided by *** appointed ********.Based on *** ******** estimate, there are funds that is still owed in order for me to either be reimbursed on complete the remaining repairs.I sent the required documents for the fence repairs to *** on August 19, 2024, at 11:54 a.m. ***. To date, I have not received any funds for these repairs. In conclusion, it is unfortunate that this matter has to all be expedited through emails since *** does not answer the phone (only once) nor respond to emails. This is my first time filing a claim for weather damages, and this has been the worst experience I have had with any insurance company. I understand the magnitude of customers *** may be dealing with due to the volume of claims, but regardless, there should be a level of customer service that *** takes pride in to ensure the customer knows that *** has its best interest in handling their claim. I am seeking immediate action as it relates to expediting the funds that are owed to me at this time. I continue to spend my own money in efforts to get my home back in order, and based on this process, it's like I have to continue to spend my own money since there is no communication or way of knowing when *** will release funds or if I am even eligible for any additional funds.
