We have lived at our home over a year and a half. During this time at our home, the *** companies have changed 3 times. The only reason I know this is because of our community FB page. We have NEVER received *** management information unless I go looking for it. Last January 2023, I had to do my own research to see how to send *** **** for the year, how much and where to send it. We sent a money order for $550 to an address I found online. Almost a whole year goes by before I was told by the newest *** that the previous *** Company, Community Mgmt Solutions ***** attached a fee of $554.98 to my account for not paying the 2023 Dues. I found this to be beyond absurd because I know for a fact we paid the 2023 dues! I spoke to the new *** company about it and they advise in order to correct that balance, I would have to speak to the previous company and gave me their correct information. I contacted the manager ***** who is very rude and advises they never received our payment. I explain to her that if they never received it then why did I NEVER receive anything stating that is was late or never received!? She stated that they sent multiple notices but I NEVER RECEIVED ONE! If I would have received at least 1 notice then I could have tried to locate where the money order was as soon as I knew! I asked her to send proof that notices were sent to us. She claimed she could not send them and I would have to ask the new company to send them. The new company did in fact send the documents and NONE OF THE NOTICES were sent to us!! They were sent to a completely different person who I have no idea is and a different address than ours! It was sent to a P.O. box but was referencing our address!! Since I had no information about the company I think the payment was sent to the wrong place but now since its a year later, I have no way of finding where it is! There is no way I can pay double the amount this year for Community Mgmt Solution's mistake!

As explained to her previously, we based our billing information on information provided to us by their previous management company.   Multiple notices were sent, both via regular mail and via certified mail.  We were not provided with either phone numbers or email addresses, so had no other way of contacting them.  Mail was also sent to the property address, as I detailed in my conversation with Ms. ************* When we received no responses to multiple letters, we attempted to research ownership/agent information in the Galveston County Appraisal District tax rolls, but the property in question is not listed on the Appraisal District web site.  Since the address used by at least 2 of the 3 management companies she references was apparently incorrect, that's probably the reason she didn't receive the notifications of change in management.  We apply payments received based on property address, and we have no record of ever receiving any payments designated for ******************.

The owner refuses to work out a solution. I sent the payment that was owed the prior year and now out $550. Apparently was sent to the wrong location due to the company not making us aware. Who keeps receipts over a year when no problems arise. The owner maintains the same response that notifications were sent to my home which in fact did not happen. The attached documents proves they were sent to a ******* address and to a different person. When our latest new company took over they did send notification with my first and last name (misspelled) so how were they able to figure it out but not Community Solutions ********!? I am a victim is this situation and the company (***** ******) refuses to acknowledge they made a mistake and want all blame to be placed on me and my family.
      Regards,
