Maverick Top Gun Auto has had my car since 05/26/2023. Maverick was communicating with my partner at first, ******* ******. Eventually, I began to speak directly with Maverick due to us not being able to get a hold of him. Maverick has not once called me about my car or the status. I have been the one initiating every phone call, email, or interaction. He has lied to me several times and added additional cost to my overall pricing. I just want a refund at this point. A full refund. It's been months, I have spent so much necessary money on ordering groceries and travelling via **** and lyft. If he could not fix the car in a timely manner, he could have communicated that. I feel as a woman, I have been taking advantage of dealing with the mechanic. I was quoted $4,456.50 for an engine replacement. The engine was to have $78,000 miles on it. 1 year warranty with free oil and maintenance. I paid $1463. 00 on 6/2/23 for these repairs to begin, then another ******* on 06/06. I was told I would have to pay 65% of the price order to begin the repairs. The repairs supposedly began on 06/02. Me and ******* were unable to reach ******** for weeks to get the status on the car. I then began to email him. Heres a timeline of events: 6/2: Paid Maverick- Top Gun Auto = 1463.00 6/6: Paid Maverick- Top Gun Auto = 1468.36 7/6: Unable to reach Maverick or his colleagues I began to email ****** car is still in his shop waiting on engine repair. Everybody I call I get a run around answer, no answer or someone tells me Maverick is not there. I need help!!!!!!! I want a refund. My car has been there for a year now.
