They still have my items after fourteen days without any information or delivery date. I have been living in a hotel with pets. This is a negative zero experience and I am still waiting and trusting my items with arrive unharmed.Transit Moving Systems

We understand that moving can be a stressful experience, and we strive to make the process as smooth as possible for all our customers. However, in this case, the delay was due to circumstances beyond our *********** were not present at the pickup, which added complexity to the process and required additional coordination on our end. Additionally, per our policy, all necessary paperwork and payment must be completed before we can dispatch a shipment. Unfortunately, these requirements were not met in a timely manner, which led to delays.Once your paperwork and payment were submitted, we promptly arranged for delivery, and your items arrived a few days later. We always aim to provide clear communication and efficient service, but certain factorssuch as incomplete requirementscan impact the timeline.We appreciate your feedback and hope that you are now settled in with your belongings. ********* experience we've ever had. We were told our stuff would stay in the same truck from door to door--it was transferred to a semi along the way. We were told our stuff would be wrapped up and taped--instead my husbands $4000 road bike was not touched AT ALL after it was specifically requested--it is not chipped and dented, can't be fixed. Our weedwhacker and $300 battery were stolen. A 6ft wooden ruler for the kids that my dad handmade was stolen--he recently passed and I was looking forward to putting it up in our new home. GONE. Irreplaceable. We were told they did not hire out the drivers--that was a lie. Our driver mid-transit told us he couldnt take our cashiers check bc he didn't work for Transit. When I asked who he worked for he screamed at me and hung up. Called back, yelled at me, threatened to leave our stuff on the side of the road & hung up again. We guesstimated 1000 sq ft of stuff to move, they said we had 1700 sq ft--IMPOSSIBLE we had a tiny house and most our big furniture we sold. 10% more stuff is totally normal PER Transit, this was nearly double. SO we were charged an additional $3000. We were then ghosted by Ryan Garcia and spent weeks trying to get in touch with a manger. Finally got a EMAIL for admin who said they'd give us $300 because we did have more stuff. This was the *********, Rudest, most disgusting experience and am still in shock this actually happened. I still haven't heard back after a week of giving specific details so we will be pursuing a lawyer. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! ***** *** *******!!!!!!Transit Moving Systems

I never expect much from these types of companies and I know it is thankless work so I usually do not even take the time to do these. At first I was very encouraged because the follow up was so good from the sales person. But I did not have a firm time for my move until the day before which was frustrating. Everything was going fine at first. I paid for 4 guys for 8 hours to move me from one house to another .5 miles away - the easiest move of all time. One guy hurt his back half way through so I was down to 3. Then at 6 hours they said they had to end at 6.5 hours because their drive back to the warehouse was 1.5 hours. There was still work left to be done and I got on the phone with the office, got the run around for 45 minutes, then they left. I paid maybe 500-600 dollars for these guys to drive home after they decided to be done... like, what is that? How was I supposed to know that my time included them driving to wherever? It was just so sketchy and what started as an otherwise good move just turned the whole experience bad because of just laziness and not keeping their word to give me 8 hours.Transit Moving Systems

Hello Mr ******, Thank you for the feedback, we would like the opportunity to investigate what happened with the crew at pickup, if you are due for a refund due to one of the crew members not being able to continue working, we would happily reduce the price for the time you only had 3 crew members working. Please allow us a few days so we can collect the information and reach a resolution. In addition, we would like to address the breakdown of your bill, we charge by the hour for local moves which include the drive time from our warehouse to you home and then back we usually calculate it by the miles and the time that the crew leaves the warehouse. I can only echo the other negative reviews. I had so many things broken and lost (including an $800 bicycle) during a move in 2021 and am still upset two years later. They were just terrible. And they also appear to treat their employees badly. The crew I had for packing my things was only allocated one afternoon for an entire four bedroom house and were badgered with constant phone calls when they got behind schedule.Transit Moving Systems

Company is nothing but scam artists, I would give zero stars if I could. They charge at the backend, stuff takes 3+ weeks for delivery when they lead off that you'll get it quickly. Criminal outfit. Zero communication or follow up. They are brokers but swear that they are not. Subcontracted the move to another POS outfit that damaged all of our furniture and straight up stole or lost my wife's $850 Trek bike- which they offered $50 for after a drawn out 3rd party claim process. Eastern European delivery driver spoke no English, didn't have complete pprwrk. Garbage company. Zero stars.Transit Moving Systems

The only reason this company gets a one star rating from me is because nothing lower was available. TMS began by making appts they did not keep. They were so very dishonest. They reassured us that all persons handling our move were paid employees of Transit Moving Systems denying they ever hired contract workers. Yet the guys who moved our belongings to TN told us they had been hired off ******* **** for this move only. We were told the total cubic footage of our belongings would fill their largest moving truck (53 ft) and we would therefore have a “dedicated truck”. This meant only our belongings would be on the truck; the truck would be loaded and unloaded only once; and the truck would have only one destination - our new TN home. This too was false. The movers came to pack two days before they were scheduled to come and then they did not come on the day they were scheduled to finish. They packed our things very poorly, loading them onto a small truck, on both dates. Our belongings would therefore be unloaded and reloaded onto the actual moving truck. Then after the moving truck was allegedly on its' way, it reportedly broke down and was taken into a shop with our things on it. Although the truck was supposed to leave the day after us & drive directly to our new house, it took 2.5 wks to arrive. Upon arrival, at least $4000 worth of our belongings were broken or missing. The contract stated I should be reimbursed $.60 per pound, but the company did not weigh our property; it used cubic feet as measurement. They overcharged almost $4000 for the truck, indicating we filled more cubic ft than would even fit into a 53 foot truck. In the end I wanted to be reimbursed at least $10,000 for broken/missing items and overcharges for the truck, and overall failure to abide by their contract. However, an attorney advised me that b/c this company uses an arbitration program, my efforts would prove useless. Do NOT repeat my mistake. PLEASE - buyer beware.Transit Moving Systems

1 starDO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!! These people are con artists..... borderline criminals. They quoted me one price and charged me another. They held my furniture hostage until I agreed to pay them more. They broke promise after promise. My sales rep disconnected his phone after our furniture was picked up. We started calling them when our furniture did not arrive on the day he projected. He would not take my calls to give any updates. We didn't receive our stuff until 26 days later. Meanwhile we had to sleep on the floor pay for restaurant food for a family of 4. Wash our clothes in the Landry Mat. All the while having no idea how long this nightmare would last. I had 31 major expensive items damaged. From my crystal, china to broken TV , chairs, bedroom furniture. They didn't deliver an expensive rod iron out door bench and took our hand truck. I was the worse experience we've ever had. My slick sales person led me to sign my rights away for insurance so I got a ridiculous reimbursement settlement. Not even worth the hours and hours I spent on filling out my claim. Be for WARNED!!!!! Lesson's learned ....always get full coverage insurance on your load. And don't ship anything that is irreplaceable.
