Marcia L Smith poses as conducting business through real estate, I invested $2,000 into her investment program where this included a housing rehab project. Marcia informed everyone that the project shouldn't take long no more than about three months and from there we should be working on the next project. Marcia claimed in March that she would have an update for us in a few weeks, however since mid march we haven't heard anything regarding this real estate investment. I have inquired questions as to what the status is and Marcia has refused to answer any questions concerning this investment project.

I would like to report a Fraudulent Financial scheme being run by Marcia operating on behalf of **** ******** ******* *** ** **** ******* ****** *** **** ******** ** ***** ***************************, and **** ****** **** also on ******** “Proper Business Structure – Advance Group” and “Financially Free”. Marcia is using ******** and **** posing as a Real Estate Advisor and Financial Expert. She claims to provide mentorship courses to teach home buying and real estate investing but she’s conducting Financial Fraud through merchant accounts, deceptive Predatory Business Practices, and scamming investors out of many thousands of dollars via wire fraud. Marcia charged me and many other investors $3,597 to meet her in Detroit, MI so she could teach us how to invest in real estate and make lucrative returns on our investments. She also collected various amounts ranging from $1,000, $3,000, and $10,000 for joint ventures to group money to buy homes. She said the properties had instant equity and once her construction crew rehabs the property the investment would be even more lucrative. Unbeknownst to us, Marcia led us to investors into purchasing properties with no value and almost on the verge of being demolished. After taking our money and making many promises, she never delivered on anything and stopped communicating with us. We accomplished nothing by paying her and getting a reputable contractor to rehab a property is hard. As investors are left with no good properties, debt to pay, and thousands of dollars lost! She took money for promises that she knew she did not have the expertise, resources, or team to complete the job! She knew she was unqualified and un capable of doing everything that she promised she could do before taking our money! I’ve communicated my refund request several times and have not received a reply from Marcia. Unfortunately, I found out after she took my money that she has a history of defrauding people!

Date of Transaction : March 31st 2022 Amount: $2,997 Transaction: Marcia committed to providing a years worth of real estate investing online class and consulting Dispute : Marcia did not provide consulting/online class as promised Communication of resolution: Marcia communicated she would gladly give a refund but to please wait. She stalled to make sure it was long enough so all merchant policies would not have to give a refund due to the time posting of the transaction. August 19th 2022, I requested a full refund from her program due to her false promises and changing stimulations from the agreed upon contract via email. August 25th 2022, Marcia replied she would refund the money August 27th 2022, I replied with my address. September 7th 2022, I forwarded our previous email communication stating that it has been 7 business days and no refund has been received. Also, asking if there is anything I can do to help. September 12th 2022, I forwarded the previous email communication again stating that it has been 11 business days, no refund has been received, and included ******** ******* ***** information. Attempts to reach her using the main contact number (************) were never returned. Her secondary contact number given (************) was her husband who said he would give my contact information to her yet she never returned the message. Marcia has removed access to all social media and online resources related to her consulting and online class but have not refunded money. As a result, I have no other way of contacting her nor do I have access to the paid for consulting/online class that should be available for a year if she plans to keep my money.
