  Spec's was the victim of a criminal attack on their network that exposed certain customer information from transactions at some of their smaller stores.  The attack has been investigated and halted, so sensitive consumer data is no longer at risk.  Specifically, the intrusion involved 34 smaller neighborhood stores in College Station, Corpus Christi, El Paso, and the Greater Houston area, including: Copperfield Liquors, JJ’s Liquors, Cowtown Discount Liquors, Restaurant & Bar Supply, Warehouse Liquors (in Corpus Christi), The Beverage Shoppe, Richard’s Fine Wines & Spirits and some small Spec’s stores in the greater Houston area. Their Houston superstore, other major stores, Rio Grande Valley stores, and their stores in North and Central Texas (including Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, and San Antonio) were not impacted (a full list of stores is available here: http://www.specsonline.com/pages.htm)
  
  Spec's is providing one year of free identity protection services to customers whose data may have been exposed during the recent criminal attack of their network. If you used a credit/debit card or check at one of the stores listed between October 31, 2012, and March 20, 2014, please request your free identity protection.
