    very nice windows, I wish I could I could submit a photo, of my Rockwell shutters / blinds but after 3 installation attempts, I am still without window coverings, almost 4 months later, still no install, no window coverings, missing parts, whatever anyone has experienced in issues, I have as well, times 10. Sorry, I cant recommend Rockwood Shutters, and highly suggest alternatives ?? Its unfortunate.

    Terrible Experience – Avoid at All Costs! Our experience with Rockwood Shutters has been nothing short of a nightmare—going on 12 months as of April. From the start, the sales process was plagued by inaccurate pricing and poor communication. Phil (the only technician in the Austin area) came out for the install but claimed he was missing shades—only to later “find” one at the warehouse. Since he was going on PTO, he had to return the next day for that install, then again three weeks later for a third visit to install yet another missing shade. To make matters worse, we weren’t even living in the home at the time due to construction, requiring us to make five separate trips just to let them in to complete the work. Phil was also rude and condescending throughout the process. The problems didn’t end there: Missing battery chargers Damaged remotes Multiple incorrect orders Constant delays I took multiple days off work to deal with this disaster, and at one point, I even had to drive to a stranger’s home to retrieve a package that was supposed to be mailed to me but was instead sent to the warehouse. Despite giving Rockwood ample time to make things right, their “compensation” was a mere $300 credit on a $10,000 order—and nearly a year later, two blinds are still not installed or functioning. This company is a joke. The frustration, wasted time, and lack of accountability are beyond unacceptable. Buyer beware!

    Rockwood Shutters is the worst company I have ever done business with. My sales rep Heather ***** didn't vouch for us nor admit that we spoke at great length regarding the shutters that were incorrectly manufactured. My concierge Julie **** lied about the timeline saying that the shutters were with the installer but they weren't a week later in a separate conversation. The concierge manager Kristin ******* went back and forth with my wife and I for months offering the worst deals any company could offer to a customer that was not satisfied with the expensive mistake the company made. Truly the worst experience we have ever had. I would like to seek removal of the 3 shutters and 15 roller shades and reimbursement for all. I prefer to get a better offer from another company. Rockwood Shutters from **** ***** is way too expensive for the materials they used. Please help rectify this ASAP.

    Hello, We sincerely regret that the customer’s experience with Rockwood Shutters did not meet their expectations. We take all feedback seriously and strive to address any concerns promptly and professionally. Regarding the issues raised, we refunded the customer in the amount of $3,940 for the shutters they were unhappy with. The customer signed a scope of work stating that they understood we were only refunding the windows in question, as there were no issues with the other windows. While the blinds they received did have some flaws, we took immediate action and provided new shades to replace the flawed ones. Additionally, after both appointments, the customer signed the Installation Completion Acknowledgment (ICA), confirming that they were satisfied with the final result. We always aim to ensure our customers are fully satisfied with the products and service they receive. We understand their frustration with certain aspects of the process and are committed to continuous improvement. Please know we are available to address any further concerns and work towards a resolution. Our goal is always to provide high-quality products and exceptional customer service.

    While they might have provided a refund, I don't want to have any connection with this company, knowing that I might have to contact them in the future for any warranty issues. They caused me significant high blood pressure, migraines, and anxiety during this process. They only have one installer running around Texas, so they didn't address the swap immediately. Please let me know if you can assist with having them remove the rest of their products out of my home and reimbursement. We have tons of email traffic to prove how long it took them to really address this. I have contacted the CEP via LinkedIn but she has not replied yet, typical of this company.

    My name is Billie ****** and I had very bad experience with Rockwood Shutters. They did very poor job at my house and didn’t care about my complaints nor tried to fix their mistakes…which were obvious. They charged me outrageous amount of money for their poor job, and that’s only they care about. I feel robbed in every way. Don’t do business with this company…safe yourself from frustration and waste of your money. This people are very dishonest.

    I am currently filling a claim against this company. I paid $2000 for 5 shades for my front door and 2 front window. I received a very light color which would allow anyone walking by the house to have a full view of the kitchen and living room. They took away the $2000 worth shades and sent me 5 cheap darker ones. I just called them today to try to talk to the management team I was hanged upon. They are very dishonest and should get their license revoked.

    The rating of a one is being generous as there's no option for a zero. To make a very long story short, this is a baby and switch through **** *****. My experience was a nightmare! I was blown off multi times, lied to , canceled on and then after months of waiting they show up and install the worst plantation shutters Ive ever seen. Thet were basically a box that sat on top of my window. It didn't even fit the window. It stick out over the sill both lengthwise and depth. I refused the order and I literally spent the next 8 months fighting for my money back. They make you pay up front and I can see why. Was a joke this company was. They kept giving me some bs about how they are custom and they won't refund me. Really ?? these were absolutely not custom. When I called them out on it they told me it's so that if the window is crooked or if it ever shifts the shutters will still fit . haha Thats not custom! They were cheap looking, didn't look like really wood and they were the ugliest I had ever seen. They acknowledged that they took the items back and never installed them then tried to tell my cc company that I had them. I guess they forgot about the voicemails and text messages telling me they were sitting in the Houston warehouse waiting for me to have them installed. I got my money back thankfully. This is actually the company that **** ***** uses when you order shutters through them. I had no idea . **** ***** was awful in terms of assistance. I was shocked by the lack of care they had since the payment for them actually goes to **** *****. Convenient way to remove the blame from other party. Anyway even if I had to pay for those I still would not have installed them. I used ***** ******* instead and they were beautiful!! and cheaper too ironically.. DOT BUY ********** SHUTTERS THROUGH ROCKWOOD or **** ****** You're welcome in advance!!!

We have thoroughly investigated your concerns and stand by the quality of our products and services. We'd like to gently explain that upon assessing your windows, we found that they were out of square. This is why it was decided with you that an  outside mount frame would work best. The condition, unfortunately, prevented us from being able to inside mount the shutters as requested. While we regret that your experience did not meet your expectations, we assure you that we take customer satisfaction seriously and continuously strive to improve.     I originally wanted to try the company since I need more solid mini blind but to my amazement they were not very help ful . They were rude and unprofessional. First of all i had paid for a miniblind on the door and window but it took so long to get the orders and i had to change to a steel door. I requested that he should put the mini blind on the new door he said no they will not do that and i requested for the blind to be left with me. The technician took it with him even though i had already paid for it. The second window was impossible for them to make and the third time they brought an inferior blind for me which was cheaper than what i paid for . When i called them they were so rude and told me there is nothing they could for me. Do not waste your money on this company they are not reliable and like to take your money without refund if they do not meet the expectations. Stay away

    We originally had a great experience ordering with Rockwood Shutters, as their representative came to our home, was friendly, and helped us select window treatments that met our needs. However, all went down from there. We ordered our shutters in January 2023, and they were not installed until April, which exceeded the timeline originally promised. The initial shutters that were installed many damages/issues--gouges on the slats, shutters that didn't latch, levers that didn't work, scratches everywhere, and a splatter reside that stained and didn't come off. We asked for replacements and repairs. That took 2 months. Our shutters were replaced with DIFFERENT shutters that didn't match the remainder of what was originally installed. We called and called and called. No follow-up. No apology. We were patient and kind every time we called despite their poor customer service. Finally, we informed Rockwood that we would file a dispute with the BBB if they did not respond. Surprisingly, this elicited a response, but only after 6 MONTHS of silence. They replaced the shutter in January 2024. They had to make it "by hand" because the product line no longer existed because they WAITED TOO LONG. To our distain, the replacement was DAMAGED as well. We contacted the company. No response. We spent thousands of dollars on shutters. Apparently, this company feels that their customers do not deserve timely responses, quality/non-damaged products, and have to settle for something they're not happy with. It's not often we feel led to leave this poor of a review for a company, but I would not recommend their product or their company. It would save you significant time and headache, and not be left with a damaged product that you don't love in your home.

    OMG THIS COMPANY NEEDS TO BE REPORTED TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. LIKE EVERY OTHER REVIEW HERE DO NOT USE OR TRUST THIS COMPANY! I just got 8 blinds from them and paid $3000 for them and EVERY ONE DOESN'T FIT AND IS HANGING UNEVENLY AND DIAGONALLY. They are literally BLAMING MY WINDOWS for the DEFECTIVE MEASUREMENTS AND UNEVEN HANGING. They will NOT OFFER ME ANYTHING TO MAKE THIS RIGHT. I immediately called them when the installer hung the first blind and it looked horrible and fit improperly. I sent them pictures of every window and they DO NOT CARE. This company is A TOTAL SHAM AND UNETHICAL ON EVERY LEVEL. I can't believe I lost $3000 on this order. I'M SO ANGRY.

    I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Rockwood Shutters, and I must say it was nothing short of a nightmare. The majority of the project was riddled with problems and poor customer service. The Designer/Installer were wonderful, but the company they work so is the WORST. The quality of the shutters is shockingly poor. The materials used on the door shutter appear to be defective and have imperfections all over them. The customer service after the installation is such a headache; they try to dodge any and all responsibility. Such a frustrating experience.
