    I had a pulmonary function test done at Memorial Hermann Pulmonary department located at 6411 Fannin St. This is a regular monitoring test I do every year for my condition. I'd normally do this test at UT Physicians but due to a scheduling conflict, UT advised me to perform this test at Memorial Hermann, which is right next door. After the service, I received a bill that's 8 times higher than UT Physicians, and 5 times higher than another university hospital that I used to go. Before the service, they never called or emailed me to provide an estimate for the test. I knew it would be higher than a doctor's office but 8 times higher! That's outrageous! I'm not using any of their emergency related resources. How can they charge so much more than market price! I called the customer service number multiple times and the only thing they told me was that's their pricing and I had to pay the bill. The quality of service I received is the worst and the price is unfair! And they hit you with surprises and expect you to pay. Do not use Memorial Hermann if you have a choice.
