1 stari purchased a 4550 mahindra in 2018. after approximately one year the lug bolts came out on the front left tire, i personally tightened them and torqued them to mahindra specs, later, lost 4 bolts in a short distance. the hub appears to have a manufacture defect. contacted customer service on 1/23/2025 thru a dealer. after 3 weeks finally got a reply from the tech team. they state "the wheel ran too long and was not under warranty" . if the hub was good the lug nuts would not come out. there 7 year limited power train warranty is no good. i will not purchase anything from mahindra. my so called warranty expires 7/19/2025Review fromSteve S

1 starThe worst display of customer service I've ever witnessed. I purchased a 6075 enclosed cab Mahindra tractor just a few months ago and was using for fairly "light-duty" work. With only 65 hours on the tractor, it broke down and would not start. I had to pay to have the machine hauled to the dealer in Marshall, TX. The tractor has now been out of service for three months. We have been, and still are, waiting on an "engine wiring harness" that is expected to "arrive" by the end of September. The tractor is under warranty. When I heard the incredibly extended time frame, I called Mahindra corporate customer service and I was told that this "$1000" part had to brought from overseas by cargo ship. Although it should not be my cost, I offered to pay for "FedEx Air" delivery since summer and fall are the "peak seasons" for my need of the tractor in the first place. I was told that the part "had to come by cargo ship". I find it difficult to believe that a $16 billion per year company could not expedite such a small item, either by having inventory in the US or simply shipping the part in a more timely fashion. A month ago on Aug 13th, I texted Todd ****** "Director of Sales Operations", and Mike **********, "VP of Sales, Parts and Aftersales" requesting an audience to see about getting the tractor fixed more quickly. I know the text was received because Todd ***** responded asking a couple of questions regarding the tractor. To this date - Sept 10th - neither I nor the dealer, after multiple attempts each, have heard from anyone at Mahindra. I can only conclude that this is because of one of three things: 1. They just don't care enough about customer service to even worry about it, or 2. The product is so poorly built that they are overwhelmed by the constant breaking down of machines. Based on the reviews I am now reading on the BBB, it very might be both. I regret my decision to buy a 75 HP tractor from Mahindra and I will tell everyone to not do soReview fromJohn F

1 starHorrible company. Would not honor their 7 year warranty at all. Bought the 1626 shuttle new. First time tilling was at 60 hours or so. The pto would just slip. Took it to the dealer and they claimed dirty oil. Which was a lie. Took the tractor home, and tried tilling same problem. Took it back to the dealer, dealer said mahindra would not authorize it to be repaired under warranty. Called another dealership. They said they won’t work on it. Since I bought it from another dealer. I surrendered the tractor and they sold it for a fraction of the fair market value. Plus they said it needed a bunch of repairs. I seen the tractor on marketplace for sale and called the guy. He bought it because it was so cheap. We hooked his tiller too it and the pto was still broken. They sold a tractor knowing it was broken to someone else as a good working tractor. Lots of ethics in this India company. Never again will I even consider buying anything from Mahindra.Review fromMark S

1 starI'm located in Fredericton NB, where both ********* ***** as well as **** **** used to be Mahindra dealers. For whatever reason, both of these dealers have parted ways with Mahindra. The tractor started having issues during the summer just moving it from one storage building to another. Due to a loss of local dealer network, and the now closest dealer being over 400km each way($1100-1200 each way with a towing company) , an attempt to rectify the issue was made over the phone. Everyone that I spoke with indicated that these tractors are bullet proof and with such low hours, less than 140, that the only logical issue was bad fuel. The fuel was drained and the filter changed, the engine oil and filter was also changed, and it appeared that perhaps the stalling/coughing/black smoke issue had been rectified. As it turns out, just a few months later that the first time there was a load on the PTO to blow snow catastrophic engine failure occurred (Nov 23rd). the issues started before the warranty was up, but as mentioned the closest dealer was thousands in float charge away. Mahindra washed their hands of my issue based on calendar time alone,2 months outside the 7 year 3000hrs, with just 140 hrs The cost for an engine + labor exceeds the price of a new eMax20.Review fromChris D

1 starAsk to speak to a manager on an issue I am having. Was told I was not allowed to speak to a manager and they wouldnt even give me the email contact. This manufacture has the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. You would be wise to buy from another brand.Review fromJoshua P

1 starI've owned 2 mahindra tractors and the current one has been in the shop over 10xs since June of 2018. It's currently been in the shop 6 months now and I can't even get it back to sell the piece of junk. All while mahindra keeps expecting payments and denies warranty claims for a tractor still under warranty. Buying a mahindra tractor was the biggest financial mistake I've ever made!Review fromBrad B

1 starI purchased a NEW Mahindra 2655, Cab, Shuttle Shift, in Texas, in 2019. From the moment I took delivery, until the day I willfully surrendered the tractor, the machine broke down on me EVERY TIME I RAN IT. 45 MINUTES after I received the tractor, while shredding grass, it overheated and the A/C quit working. I took the tractor back to the dealer, where it sat in their shop for 3 weeks. Their diagnosis was “low on A/C refrigerant”, which caused motor to overheat. I picked it up from the dealer, took it back to my property and started shredding grass. About 30 minutes into the operation, the same problem occurred. I took it back to the dealer, this for about 2 weeks. Back to my property, same issue, same down time. This happened 5 times before they found a pin hole in the radiator. From this point on, I made them come pick it up and take it to their shop. With new radiator, I started shredding. The A/C quit again. Too much refrigerant. And again, not enough; and again too much. On one occasion, I just filled the diesel tank and started moving trash to a burn pit. The machine stopped running. The main fuel line had fallen off; no clamp. I put the line and a clamp on, refilled the tank, after losing all of the previous load of fuel, and continued moving trash… the A/C quit again; too much refrigerant. They delivered the tractor again, I started shredding the pasture again and the A/C compressor locked up. I called the dealership, told them to come pick it up and “keep the piece of junk’”. I tried to work a deal with the dealership to take the Lemon back and put me in a new tractor. The owner of the dealership refused. I willfully defaulted on the loan.I might add that, along with the tractor, I gave them 1 Mahindra 60” SD cutter, 1 Landpride 72” HD cutter, 1 Landpride box blade, 1 - 3 point qwik connect and 1 3rd implement hydraulic setup; a total of over $10k worth of implements. I settled with the collection agency for $5000.00. Ripped off, pissed off better educated
