We appreciate the replacement window policy especially after a rock, thrown while mowing, broke a window, three months after y'all did our new installation. Gulf Coast Windows are the way to go when it comes to windows! The installation team worked efficient and fast, and answered all my concerning questions. Since we've had our windows put in upstairs our electric bill has gone from $400-450 a month to a whopping $250!!!!! The windows are saving us money and they look absolutely beautiful! If you need windows....Gulf Coast Windows & Energy Products is the way to go!......I'll be calling them from now on.Review from Steve S

BEFORE you decide to buy these windows, ask them about the maintenance you are required to do and check out a window very carefully. We replaced all our windows in 2012 with Gulf Coast Windows and I am very upset that we made that mistake. I am probably out of all that money but hopefully I can spare someone else the same heartache. I have had rain pouring (like a waterfall over the windowsill) through one particular window at least 4 times. In January, rain came in two more windows. I have many years experience living in homes with windows and I never had to do maintenance on any windows and never once had rain coming in. I was finally told after 3rd serviceman came out that they require maintenance twice yearly to keep rain out. These windows all have little drains on outside. I told them the windows were not properly installed and were not weatherproofed. I think they just slapped the window in without applying any caulk or weatherproofing. I pointed out to the serviceman March 2023 that my "picture" window they installed had water come in the upper corner when I cleaned it, so their drain theory could not be correct. I told them I had a handyman that was doing some work for me to caulk around that window. The handyman said they did not caulk behind the window. I wrote the owner a letter in February but have gotten no response and he did not give any extra instructions to the serviceman who came out in March.Gulf Coast Windows & Energy Products, Inc. I have had a water leakage problem on 7 windows since approximately Jun 2020. After various repairs were tried, GCW decided that the windows needed to be replaced. In Aug 2021, GCW admitted that not all replacement windows were ordered and the ones that were came in incorrectly manufactured and the wrong color. In July 2022, CW admitted that they could not match the grids of my existing windows and the only option was to replace the glass on the non leaking windows to match the new replacement windows. Measurements were taken on 11 Aug 2022 and so far 8 weeks later I have yet to get a status on the replacement glass panels or to even receive a call from GCW. The service department and GCW management has done a particularly poor job with attention to detail on my order and following up with me. There is much more detail to this saga, but based on my experience, I would never recommend GCW to anyone.Gulf Coast Windows & Energy Products, Inc. Response

Prompt and courteous. Upfront with all the costs and expectations. Available with any questions and able to find the answers if unknown. The only issue is with the manufacturer of the windows. They were delayed but for legitimate reasons due to Covid issues. Minor defect found but Gulf Coast Windows is in the process to replace the issue. Highly recommend getting a quote and evaluating their work when choosing windows for your home. Overall, fantastic business practices.Gulf Coast Windows & Energy Products, Inc. Response

I have been trying to have a defective impact window replaced under warranty for over a year now. They have come out 3 times. 2 other times I have been stood up for the replacement to happen. The first time the ordered the wrong window, the second time they brought another window that would not fit. The third time they were scheduled to come out when I called them to confirm they had lost my window after they confirmed they had it and when it would be installed. the forth time they showed up and broke the replacement window. It has been broken for over 4 months now all thru hurricane season. During hurricane Nicholas it did hole but the crack increased to half the size of the window. Today they were supposed to show up to install the window that I have been calling the new warranty manager about to make sure it got ordered, it arrived and I had an install date. I confirmed the install date over a month ago. Just to be sure I called last Friday to confirm and no one returned my call. I hoped for the best and at 11 am this morning when no one had showed up I called them. I got a call back from the installer not the manager that they could not come out until the end of November. I rescheduled for beginning of December since that is when I will be back at this house. It is my second home whi8ch is over an hour away from my permanent residence. I have now taken off 5 days from my work to get this done not to mention countless time on the phone waiting for returned calls or reaching out myself to get this matter resolved. They have not offered apologies juts that they dropped the ball. They have not offered to do anything to try to make this right either. I am reaching out to you to hope this will get my case heard by someone at their company who can get this matter resolved once and for all.Gulf Coast Windows & Energy Products, Inc. Response

By far the worst customer service I have received in many years. Contract for Triple Hinged Door signed 7/20/21. Was told 6-8 weeks due to supply chain issues. On the 8th week I was told it would be 10-12 weeks before delivery. On week 13 (October 16, 2021) they came to my home to install these doors, however the door threshold and hardware were GOLD, when I ordered BRONZE so I refused to allow it to be installed because I was paying $13k for this door. Please note I called and cancelled the contract in August, September, October and they are ignoring me. On Monday November 1, 2021 I called again to confirm my contract had been cancelled and was told they ordered my correct threshold that day 2 full weeks after the GOLD install screw up. I want to add that they had taken my old door down and had to put it back up and it has not shut and locked since then so I cannot secure my home when I leave or at night. Very unsafe, very scary. When you call to speak with someone all you get are sales people, or supervisors. I have asked to speak with owner Jim and have left 14 messages for him with no return calls. I have asked for district managers, regional managers, VP, etc with no return calls.
