      The company will not stand behind their product. They installed almost $10,000 worth of windows in my home. Within a few months one of the windows leaked. It took them many weeks to come out and repair it. It has now been about a year and 4 months since the original installation and still another window is leaking. I called to request service and was told it would be 12 days before someone could come out and look at it and that “look” would cost $75. If the problem was simply a caulking problem I would be charged accordingly. The problem window is in a room with 30 foot ceiling and I have had to move furniture and paintings to avoid additional damage. I would not recommend this company to do any work for anyone because of their lack of response and timelessness in helping a customer.

      Signed a window contract with Gulf Coast Windows. Someone came and measured the windows. Then, there was no communication. After 12 weeks we called salesman to check status. He did not know anything and would call back, but no communication. Called salesman again and were told he gave our information to the installer. After a week the installer called with appointment, but it was a no show. Then another appointment, and another no show….no communication and our calls went direct to voice mail. He called days later and set the day after Thanksgiving. Again a no show and no communications. On December 3 we heard from office and were told that installer was in an accident and a new installer would contact us. New installer set Dec. 4 as install date. AGAIN no show, no communication. Left messages with installer and office. Days later the office told us that the original installer had our windows and they were not sure where they were or if they were damaged in the wreck or not. No communication for a week We called and spoke to sales man and office manager and requested a refund and cancellation but they refused. Then requested a small discount for the time and inconvenience of 4 no shows, and all our time spent calling, it was refused. This company had no concern for any lost time / inconvenience they caused us, very disrespectful. Finally we have windows. This team is poorly trained. Mr. Fiume, communication with your customers is very important. Whether good or bad news, a call would go a long way to help us, plan, schedule and know that we are not forgotten...especially during the Holidays and with the house prepped for installation. Remember we should be treated like a valuable relationship, not a customer who paid a third of the cost up front and then tied to your contract no matter what, and then reminded of that. To all who are considering Gulf Coast Windows: “Let the buyer beware”.

      Bobby did a good job explaining how their windows worked as far as appearance, energy savings and how easy they worked as far as opening, cleaning, etc. Very timely with appointment and overall good job. Haven't had them installed yet but look forward to it. I am on the schedule and will update this review after installation. I do prefer to buy local and support local vs. the franchises with more locations than I can count. Neal

      Gulf Coast Windows is a company that is expesives and has poor warranty service and no replacment window service after the sale. I purchase windows for my home approximately 10 years ago. One warranty claim for a window, warrant service ended in poor quality repair. Hurricane Beryl ( July 2024) Texas, damaged a window. Gulf Coast refuse to assist and allow me to use them to purchase and install a replacement. I spent $14K with them and the service after the sale in horrible. I found a local company to replace the window with the same style and quality. ***** ***** ******* is my new window company and installer. I have had good luck with ****** ***** on a Rent House. I hope this review helps other potential customers to seek competitive bids from the same product at a lower price. Poor company, be aware Thank you John ******

      We appreciate the replacement window policy especially after a rock, thrown while mowing, broke a window, three months after y'all did our new installation. The installer was mindful of our property to arrive at window. Installation was quick. The replaced window is just like new!

      Gulf Coast Windows are the way to go when it comes to windows! The installation team worked efficient and fast, and answered all my concerning questions. Since we've had our windows put in upstairs our electric bill has gone from $400-450 a month to a whopping $250!!!!! The windows are saving us money and they look absolutely beautiful! If you need windows....Gulf Coast Windows & Energy Products is the way to go!......I'll be calling them from now on.

      BEFORE you decide to buy these windows, ask them about the maintenance you are required to do and check out a window very carefully. We replaced all our windows in 2012 with Gulf Coast Windows and I am very upset that we made that mistake. I am probably out of all that money but hopefully I can spare someone else the same heartache. I have had rain pouring (like a waterfall over the windowsill) through one particular window at least 4 times. In January, rain came in two more windows. I have many years experience living in homes with windows and I never had to do maintenance on any windows and never once had rain coming in. I was finally told after 3rd serviceman came out that they require maintenance twice yearly to keep rain out. These windows all have little drains on outside. I told them the windows were not properly installed and were not weatherproofed. I think they just slapped the window in without applying any caulk or weatherproofing. I pointed out to the serviceman March 2023 that my "picture" window they installed had water come in the upper corner when I cleaned it, so their drain theory could not be correct. I told them I had a handyman that was doing some work for me to caulk around that window. The handyman said they did not caulk behind the window. I wrote the owner a letter in February but have gotten no response and he did not give any extra instructions to the serviceman who came out in March.

      I have had a water leakage problem on 7 windows since approximately Jun 2020. After various repairs were tried, GCW decided that the windows needed to be replaced. In Aug 2021, GCW admitted that not all replacement windows were ordered and the ones that were came in incorrectly manufactured and the wrong color. In July 2022, CW admitted that they could not match the grids of my existing windows and the only option was to replace the glass on the non leaking windows to match the new replacement windows. Measurements were taken on 11 Aug 2022 and so far 8 weeks later I have yet to get a status on the replacement glass panels or to even receive a call from GCW. The service department and GCW management has done a particularly poor job with attention to detail on my order and following up with me. There is much more detail to this saga, but based on my experience, I would never recommend GCW to anyone.
