- Closings are subject to a standard 3 day right of rescission. For special orders, an agreement is executed with a deposit amount of no less than 5%of the sales price of the home that is being ordered. Should a consumer refuse to accept a home that is special order/built as ordered, then the 5% is forfeited. If a special part is ordered and it is not the correct sized, based on information provided by the consumer, it can be exchanged but the consumer will be responsible for the restocking fee charged by the supply company.
