    I purchased a car from Bishop Maserati and found they installed a GPS tracker without my permission. I asked them to remove the tracker since I have paid off the auto loan, but they refused. They said I purchased from the previous dealer instead of them, but I did purchase the car from them.

    They sold me a car on 1-20-2024 without mufflers, window tint above the legal limit, had no state inspection (wouldn't have passed anyways), was leaking oil from the upper and lower oil pan, leaking oil from the valve covers, and the check engine light came on before I got home. *** dealer said someone had been resetting it multiple times, so apparently Bishop was aware of the check engine light. Wanted to return the car immediately, but they said they would fix it. After a week they said the car was ready, but when I picked it up the check engine light was on and there was another alert saying there was an issue with the emergency collision system. So they kept it another two weeks only to tell me they were taking it to ***. *** told me it was still leaving oil from the valve covers (which Bishop said they fixed) and there were a couple more issues they found with the cooling and emissions system. Bishop gave *** the ok to repair the car, but when it was time to pay, *** told me they couldn't get a hold of Bishop Maserati so I had to pay. Total repairs were north of $35,000 to date. Also, after 4 months and no Title, I contacted them and asked why it was taking so long. They told me it needed an inspection and to bring it in at their expense. When I arrived the service tech said he can't pass it with the window tint as dark as it is, but then he recanted and said he'd do it anyways. Shady business...Also, there's some evidence of odometer fraud as the mileage on title I received is way different then what was on the car when purchased and the mileage they reported to the warranty company. I've tried to be patient and work with this dealer, but they've just demonstrated in incompetence and indifference across the board. Now I have to take steps on my own to get the mileage corrected on the title and compensated for the repairs they authorized to BMW.***Request compensation for repairs and mileage corrected on vehicle title.***

    Asked for proof of payment from customer. When we called ***, they said that the entire claim was paid by warranty and there were not out of pocket charges.

    I am rejecting this response because: I've attached copies of my personal bank transactions that match the dates and payments made to ****** ***. Bishop Imports stated that ALL repair costs were covered by the third party warranty coverage, but the warranty department didn't cover any of this. Bishop Imports stated that they would cover ALL my costs and i expect them to do just that.

    Bishop Maserati/Alfa Romeo will be sending $3128.92 to Mr. ****** for his out of pocket expense on the *** he purchased. We have informed Mr. ****** that we would be paying for those repairs.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and, although I have not received payment yet, find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Once payment is received, then the complaint be fully rescinded.

    I bought a car and when the salesman handed me the keys he stated, smiling, that it came with two key fobs. I later discovered one didn't work so I called and the same salesman said he thought it just needed a battery. I believe he knew it wasn't just a battery problem and so I called and spoke with the manager who promised he would order the key fob the next Monday since it was late on Friday. That was over 3 weeks ago. I haven't received the fob and when I call the business I am put on hold for extremely long periods and then the call is dropped. I did speak to a manager once last week and he said,"let me check on that" and put me back on hold again and call was later dropped. I have left several messages asking him to call me without success. The salesman also told me the car had heated seats which it does not but I didn't complain about that.I was also promised that I would receive reimbursement for gas money for someone bringing me to get the car since it was 3 hours away. I ended up having to call the manager back a couple of times before they actually sent it. But I did receive it after pushing.
